$100 PokerStars HU Hypers Division Chat - Page 5 - Heads Up SNG and Spin and Gos -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Right when this division started i played alot against it. Back then there wasnt any EV requirements so most of the time i grinded several members at the same time on multiple tables. Therefore my EV results so far aren't very good (a bit less than breakeven in chips). This makes it very hard for me to get the required results.

I think the only fair way, is for me to not count the results from before the EV requirements got available, but i wanted to ask in here first.

The problem is that it goes both way!

Most of guys in likely played worse before the ev requirement yet their results still counted for the first guys who got in.

The cartel is also stronger now so maybe its a disadvantage so either way i dont think its a big deal

Just curious guys, is there many players that are capable of not joining the division and just sitting every one at the 100s and moving up that way or is it too hard these days?

If you are making money against 100s division there is no reason not to join. In theory its possible ofc. I think azn-ra plays vs 60s-300s divisions and is making little bit money, but if you want to make good money, you pretty much need to be in a division.

Yeah it's definitely possible to beat 100s division for more than the rake, but if you do you will qualify to get in by 4k games anyway and you'd make more money joining than staying out. Someone could refuse to join if they had an ethical objection to the division but I think it's pretty fairly run ATM so I doubt anyone will.

there is basically no reason not to just join if you achieve the requirements, you can still just sit everyone inside the group if you want even if you are in.

Still no response on what happens after you hit 10k games, I've been getting responses on private saying that most likely the stats are counted as "last 10k games". I would like you guys to define a clear rule on that subject if possible.

The poll is finished. From now on we will count all games and we implemented milestones every 2K games after 10K games (12K, 14K, 16K...). You will have to hit an EV of -1.23% at those points.

Since Pokerstars increased the rake, 100s division decided together with the other divisions to do a regwar strike until we found a solution how we will proceed in future. This will result in the following points:

- None of our members will play battles between regulars on our limit. (We won't get sat anyway, because other divisions will join the strike.)
- None of our members will sit higher division regs during this time. We want to show solidarity and therefore our upmovers will stop to battle 200s+ during the strike.

Please notice that this is not meant to hurt any of our sitlisters. The other divisions (and therefore most of our current triers) will join the strike and agreed to stop regbattling. We are all working very hard to find a solution for the situation, since everybody is aware that regbattle like they were in the past cannot exist anymore. Please give us some time to find a solution, we will update our rules in this thread as soon as possible!

why let regs in other game formats get the fish? fish games are still going to run regardless whether its vs a husng reg or a cash reg or 6max hyper reg. what would that matter to amaya

Yeah i understand that, but then please dont try to generate the impression amongst others, that you strike for some higher goal in which we should support your your goals and participate OR ELSE.

Because all you "strike" for is that you can keep having your cartels and regbattles and thus you only strike for your own wallet.

Lol there is no higher goal, nobody even wants to generate that impression, not sure what you are talking about...

From my understanding, its simply to show Stars that rake increase is less profitable for them if we stop battling. For battles alone, the rake is really high which is the main reason of putting regwars on hold. Of course people are protecting their own interests. This is always how it goes

in this case however, it is a lose-lose situation for both Stars/us compare to the previous rake

100s division changed their admission system to Chip EV. Please note that we have used the admission requirements of the former rake for the calculations. With the new rake it would have been harder to get in and we did not want to be unfair to our sitlist.

The admission milestones will be the following:

4K games: + 22014 Chips
6K games: + 26906 Chips
8K games: + 30575 Chips
10K games: + 33123 Chips
