Stake: $7
Tables/Format: 4 Tables, Hyper
Number of Games: 260
HEM Hours: 5.0h
Network: Stars

Notes: God damn can't even escape runbad wherever I play! Recent talk in the regs thread (and of course occasional graphs in here) from the multitablers made me want to try it out, and I didn't want to play for meaningful stakes anyhow today.

I'm quite bad at 4 tables, sometimes it was OK but occasional timeouts are def a sign of not good! There were stretches were I was on it though. It's much more fun playing 4 constantly. the games just rack up at a ridiculous pace, HEM hours actually line up with playing due to little downtime, and for me there is much reduced emotional attatchment to allins since I'm not looking at them sweating cards (most of the time). I'm bad at checking appropriate info before taking action too, often I'd find myself jamming low Ax, K7 or whatever then notice it's a huge limper whose just made his first raise in 20 hands.

The level of ****** at the $1.50 hyper is astounding. more fool me though for not being able to beat them across four tables YET!

Stakes: $30
Tables: 2-6
Profit: $23
Hours: I don't even want to know

Notes: started off the day running 20 buy ins below ev and ran like **** all day. Funny how I can always put in much more volume when I am losing. Ended about breakeven in real money and up 15 buy ins in EV. Also, realized I get tilted very easily by chat and this moron terasio caused me to spew off several buy ins.

Notes: Played only a short session after I got back from the gym, with intention to play much more later but after I had some food and watched TV I was almost falling asleep in my char so gave it a miss. But epic rungood, made back it to even Four tables was a little easier today, though I played only 3 some of the time and that felt super-comfortable, lol. robot professional poker player ftw! Also adjusted some to the extreme looseness of $1.50s, mostly a tad tighter preflop and larger valuebets post. still trying to fire all 3 barrels, that worked a few times today. once I checked back the river with weak sd value Q high, got beat by a better no pair K high grrrr!

Notes: Not bad first session, but my internet went down near the end, came back up within a minute but worrying - it keeps dropping out for the rest of the night and I have no data credit on my phone (backup) so tilting unable to reliably play any more!

Notes: Decide to take the gamble, Internet did cut out once but not for long. swingy day, I think I lost concentration / went autopilot a lot during the middle. then got coolered massively as you can see when the redline tracks straight down lol. took a break, opened the window and played a few more fully focusing, those games went well

Stars
1 table
$3.50

First shot at the $3.50s. I've only played ~500 at $1.50 (0.26% ROI!!) but I'm sick of 4% rake and earning bugger all FPPs/VPPs. I had about 8 buyins for the $3.50's in my account at the start of the day. BRM ftw!!!
I know it's only a really small sample to go off so far but I don't want to start multi-tabling until I know my ROI is indeed positive.

I can't edit my above post for some reason, but I found a few minutes to get a few more tourney's in. My bankroll is 3 times what is was this morning

What's variance?

Notes: Another sad day It seems to happen to me very often: Go on downswing, move down to rebuild confidence, end up with massive hit to confidence due to not even being able to beat the "easiest" of games.

Meh, end of session went OK, two tabled the last 20 games and felt like I had all the time in the world, which I guess was kinda the point of moving down here. But def don't have confidence to move up again for now

One day if I really can't stomach the idea of playing I might make a "Chubukov EV calcuator". I'd actually love to see how bad I've run on mathematically proven profitable shoves.

Dave, how much do you actively work with your game? It looks like you post a lot of 'sad' graphs... You struggle to put in volume but maybe you could win more in less games if you did more studying?

Please don't see this as a negative comment as it was in no way intended as such!

I could def study more. Prob doesn't help that I've no idea what "good study" looks like. I generally just review hands where I didn't know wtf to do, but those are fairly rare. Any ideas for how to productively study appreciated!

I recommend cutting down on the tables, personally I'm not going to multitable until I'm at least winning at the 7s (and even then I'll probably only play 2 tables at the 3.50's and watch my ROI like a hawk).

I'm really trying to think about every decision (doesn't always happen ) until I nail it, then worry about hourly and increasing the tables. I don't think multitabling is for those of us starting out personally.

1-4 tabling the 15s on Stars.

Could be better EV, had some ****ty spots today though so not overly worried. Nice finish to the session. 24.5 BIs up over last 50 games.

I can't really give you the answer to this, sorry. I just have two coaches to help me and that's working out fine.

Notes: I know its _daily_ volume thread but just want to share with someone - few days ago I decided to give it a try a despite small bankroll I bought standard membership on husng.com. I know that [ ] volume, but after like 10 vids and a bunch of notes I feel soooo much better about my game. I've just started playing 10s, hope to post similar graph after a while.

Nice non-sd winnings,. no idea how to manage that myself.

Thanks Dave! Actually thats absolutly new thing for me. I think I was playing lately against some really passive vilains and was trying my best to go after their every weak range and just give up if they show any kind of logical agression.

Also these are 5s so there are fishregs who fold, for example, 70% limps to raise and if Im raising EVERY single limp they are like 'ok fine, but dont think that you'll force me to change my strategy' ~_~

I guess before visiting husng.com I used to call a **** load of flops with marginal sd and then got lost in the hand -> red line hurts. In general I think the better hand reader u are the better red line u have. Not that Im that good, just this is only advice that come to my mind. GL!
