So atm cracking 5nl, soon will go up stakes.
So, setting up group for about 5 to 10 commited poker players, who uses skype and are ready to spend atleast 1day in weak analyzing hands and basicly talk about poker. So, as i'm small stake player, i guess players from 2nl to 50nl would do the work.

I'm looking to get a study group going.

First note: I'm aware of the downsides of this game..I'm not sure how viable this game is in its current state long term,imo it could do with reduced rake, deal making and a smaller jackpot price structure but nonetheless I like the game, it's a fun game and is attracting some mega fish. Hopefully Stars will listen to players concerns and make it a bit less like bingo but yet keep enough gamble to attract the fish.... anyway...

I'm looking for just a small group of people to form a study group and share ideas, ideally a mixture of heads up and 6-man hyper turbo and turbo specialists. Preferably already winning players or at least showing some glimpses that they can turn into winning players if not already.

About me: I've an analytical background, I've been playing poker for a long time, have played just about every type of game, lived off it for a while but now would just describe myself as a serious part-time player.

I've a good record in 6-man hyper turbos albeit over a relatively small sample and also have a good record in mtts. My stats are available on Sharkscope pokerstars name Firbolg..

After years of being a jack of all trades and a master of none I admittedly very late want to get a grind on and just want to specialise in one game, I had been starting to fully concentrate on 6-man hypers on Stars but the spin & gos have grabbed my attention. I want to give them a try and I want to do it with any leak I may have plugged.

My online roll is pretty low right now so I'm planning on starting at the $7 level, tbh the standard seems bad across all levels so right now I don't think there'll be much if any difference in the approach to take to the $7 game as opposed to the $30. I also saw you were planning on moving to the $50 as soon as you have 500 buy-ins... I think it's a wise choice to wait until you have that many buy-ins as you aware the swings are massive in this game. Once I get my teeth into this game I think I'll use a 500 buy-in requirement as well to move up levels.

^You actually need a lot less buyins than that if your winrate is good

This is a new format for me and I'm currently playing 50c & $1 HUSTs on FTP and plan to move up when the bankroll allows me too, I built my (tiny) roll playing freerolls and aim to play beyond the $30s on stars eventually.

The stakes i play should not matter as i'm hard working and grind a lot.
I'm finding the study for these games a little difficult (and boring at times) by myself.

I'm looking for HU Hyper study group/partner, for the 10s+(FTP)/15s+(PS). Currently playing the 10s/20s on FTP.

I'm no longer interested in grinding the spin & gos as others have said it's just too crazy variance and not reliable if you want to have any sort of 'guaranteed' income from poker.

I'm planning on grinding 6-man hypers on stars. This is a game I've played before and am winning at, albeit over only about 2000 games on Stars, but never grinded for any serious amount of time. I plan to finally get a grind on and put in some volume. I'm going to start at the beginning $1.50 (my average buy-in in the past is more like $60-$70 - I'll check Sharkscope later to verify) and I'm only going to move up when I have 300 buy-ins for the next level.

If anyone is interested in doing the same or similar or for that matter talking about HU hypers feel free to pm me.
