Is this a standard probing spot for you, despite having no equity? Villain is pretty much capped to 2nd pair, and there will be many good river cards to barrel again. What size would you use?

PokerStars - 10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J 3

SB raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) 6 4 T
Hero checks, SB checks

Turn: (4 BB, 2 players) 9
Hero ?

no it's not, and villain is not capped to 2nd pair if he is good. He can have sets 2ps and the nuts at all stackdepths.

I should've noted that this is vs the population. Most recs are capped here. So question is if it's a standard probe readless, not in a theoretical sense.

Sorry for the OT. What's probing?

Probing is betting turn out of position after flop goes check-check.

Probing turn is prob fine. I wouldn't do it readless, but can do so after seeing a couple of hands. Would need to barrel most rivers.
