Hi
first time posting here but felt i needed advice
i have been playing on sky poker for a month or so and i noticed a player playing the heads up sng i played this player hundreds of times. many things seemed strange about his play and many players i had spoken to also stated this. i informed sky poker about this and they said thank you but you will not be informed on the outcome of the investigation. it has been two weeks since this and i haven't seen this player since which is strange as it played all the time. my problem is that sky are not being transparent i personally believe that if sky have found a bot playing on the site they should be transparent and refund all loosing games. am i being silly, should sky just ban the player and thats it, or should they refund loosing players there money ?

I can't think you can expect them to return all those funds to all players that have played against him. If they haven't managed to get money from the suspended account ( if it's been cashed out) they have only had the rake which ain't going to be all that significant against all funds lost by all players s a semi decent bot.

Chances are you're wrong and it's not a bot.

From playing there in the past sky never comment on outcomes of investigations. They have been pretty consistent with that over the years.

The player pool is small there, if they had numerous complaints they may have suspended the player, who may now feel unwelcome. So their absence doesn't auto = confirmed bot.

It'd be harder to create a bot on sky as their hh's aren't written to the hard drive and are displayed in picture format - it means pt4 and hem won't work there, and the commercially available HUD that does work there is reportedly sluggish.

I'm not sure hyper HU games would be a botters game of choice for that reason and the small player pool making detection more likely - but a couple of cash accounts were widely accepted as being botters recently so you never know.

hi thanks for the reply
the reason i asked is because i know stars had refunded money in similar situations to players so i was not sure if stars had done this for moral reasons or legal reasons. personally if it was a bot i think the site should refund all money as players dont want to play bots they want to play humans its the responsibility for the site to invest in up to date anti AI detection systems
