my god OP, what would inspire you to take so much time an effort for this thread? you really want to vent to the world your view this badly?

Hadn't done a thought of the month in about nine months, figured I was due. Ever since I've dropped out of school I've been pretty lazy about doing anything remotely academic, and the truth is I actually enjoy writing quite a bit. It's a nice chance to practice my writing, and hopefully contribute something positive to the community. Also really enjoyed the process of putting my thoughts to paper as it made me aware of some leaks that I hadn't fully externalized.

dude stfu your in every thread writing paragraph after paragraph post after post about your "views" about various things, not sure I've seen a better example on here of blantant hypocrisy.

Forgot to mention I'm down roughly 25k from live tournaments (WSOP 2010 primarily) -- didn't factor that into my "live poker" figure

I think this is exactly his point that you need to have it all to become great in poker.

Wrote a pretty massive thread about this, but the cliffs are that I enjoy the social aspects, it plays to my strengths in understanding people, and I feel comfortable & play my best in the live arena.

WTF is wrong with people? Why go on hating someone, who out of the kindness of their heart, wants to contribute their knowledge and thoughts for free on this forum?

What do they say about opinions they're like buttholes, everyone has one?

I guess the haters have their right to post.

OP.....I thought it was a great post....thank you very much for doing this and I look forward to future posts.

Great read.

Mine:

Natural Talent: if love for the money goes under Natural Talent, then B, if not, C. I think my logical thinking is pretty good, math not that good, love for the money - superb.

Work Ethic: C-

Professionalism: C+

Life Balance & Confidence: so far have been D+, but just got set sleeping pattern and joined martial arts training course, if I manage to stick to it then it's going to be B or better soon

I hope I'm not being tossed in with the "haters".

The title of the post is a bit haughty in my opinion and it led me to the question of who is he. The post assumes the general reader would be interested in some pretty mundane facts about his life and his upbringing.

Now the answer may be that he is one of most respected posters in the forums or something like that. He may be a wonderful guy and really trying to help others but it has a little too much ego for my tastes.

How it's "awesome" and "maybe the best post ever" is beyond my reasoning powers. That said I wish OP the best of everything and I respect the thought he put into his composition.
