Push/Fold for Pokerstars Beat The Clock Push/Fold for Pokerstars Beat The Clock

Hi all

As far as I am aware there doesn't yet exist a push/fold chart specifically produced for Pokerstars Beat The Clock tournaments.

Can anyone suggest a chart to use when playing these tournaments, given they are 4 max Hyper Turbo zoom format.

Also can someone put me right with regard to using push / fold charts in general. Am I right in thinking that you use the effective stack at the table to determine whether or not to use the chart. In other words if it is you and the villain and you have 20BB but the villain has only 8BB he is the effective stack and therefore a chart could be used.

It should be obvious that using P/F charts is a newbie thing for me so go gentle please :-)

And just to save time I know this particular format is very controversial but please leave out opinons on the merits or otherwise of the game as that is not what I am asking and so far after 2000+ games I am doing ok ROI 5%+ (yes I know its a smallish sample)

Thanks in advance everyone

Mike

You'll have to build your own.

I don't think any of the solutions software out there is programmable to push/fold 4 handed (someone correct me if I'm wrong please).

Either the $100 + ~10 hrs of work for Tipton's Solving Poker video pack (teaches you how to solve for situations like this with code) or paying someone to build these charts for you.

Hi ChicagoRy
Thanks for getting back to me.
I did think about trying to make my own using the Equilab software but I think I need far more knowledge on push/fold and poker math in general before trying to tackle it myself.
I will have a look at the Tipton thing too

Thanks

What about using this push/fold chart and only using the boxes for 4 players and lower?

Just a thought?

I'll let someone with better strategic knowledge of the ranges respond if those are good or not, I am not sure.

Ok thanks :-)

These games are not beatable after rake. They are 10% raked and last about 14 hands. They are basically a pit game with a poker feel.

Please post an ev graph. Showing that you are beating the games

“Thanks for your message and expressing your interest (this not a party). I read your profile and don’t think we’re a match but I wish you all the best.”

I would however still really appreciate it if someone who has read the original question, which included this paragraph.... (And just to save time I know this particular format is very controversial but please leave out opinons on the merits or otherwise of the game as that is not what I am asking and so far after 2000+ games I am doing ok ROI 5%+ yes I know its a smallish sample) and has a good knowledge of push / fold would comment on my suggestion of trying the Nash push/fold charts that ChicagoRy kindly commented on above.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Pushing chart depends on villains calling ranges, you can search for Nash HU Charts and start from there tighten up villains calling ranges cuz we all know they arent calling near as what Nash sugest and you can start adjusting your pushing ranges accordingly.

You come here asking super basic strategy questions about your game and condescend to the only good advice given to you.

The game is literally only push/fold, you don't know what ranges to push/fold, and yet you think you're qualified to say these games are beatable past rake? Maybe at $1s, but certainly not for any real money. The arrogance is real.

The ranges you posted aren't Nash ranges.

Learn to play.

Normally I wouldn't grace that sort of outpouring of bile with a response (Duncelanas) but I work in Mental Health and I feel a moral obligation to offer you some counselling for your obvious Personality Disorder!! I have slots free at the end of the week if you would like one

Ah, a licensed Internet Psychologist. Impressive, Doctor.

Characterizing advice you don't like as "bile" shows your professional level of mental fortitude.

Hi All

Thanks to everyone that provided helpful replies and that doesn't include those that felt the need to be nasty

I am going to close this now because the Excellent SnapShove app developed by Max Silver is all I need.

Please goodeh would you add that 20% rake to the app because I am about to purchase the pro version
