Great piece of insight. As an amateur I'm always looking for references on approaching poker not only the strategic way but as well as the mental way. I've been reading Tendler's book on the Mental Game and it's great so far. I'm always looking for insightful pieces like this, they will help when I decide to step my game up and play professionally. Amazing post. This described to a tee exactly what I go through as a player but was unaware of why. This gives me some much needed thought on how to proceed with my profession in a healthier manner going forward.
