I was wondering if Pokerstars will be adding any kind of leaderboards for the Spins - for example, regarding highest winning % over a certain stretch of games (say over 100 games). Anyone think this is could plausibly happen at some time?

Does anyone know if the $5 spin and go for 1 million dollar is still active? Someone told me they play these $5 spin and goes and want to the the million. 2nd and 3rd place is 100k it seems but apparently this was hit once a while back. But this one is still active until someone hit it?

no, as people have just said the $5 are gone.

Stars should add option to make a deal, but its gonna cost 5k to make a deal. Think that would be good for both players and stars hehe

+1 cannot see any reason to not adding the deal button, all regs want this and if one fish don't want he can refuse so..

I'm new to spins so one question is that normal that my chips without SD is not similar to others ? as in hu, even if sample is small.

what counts is yellow line. The rest is just your style of play...

They have leaderboards only for the game of the week. I don't think there'll be a permanent Spin leaderboard because JP SnGs have been excluded from Full Tilt's Edge leaderboards recently.

There's no way I'll pay $5K to Amaya for this. $3.50 sounds like a fairer price.

If seriously, this won't work because stakers would be glad to provide all-in equity insurance for significantly less than $5K (if the player has references, of course).

Id like to know their logic for not allowing deals, compared to ftp which they own that allows it...

I guess that programming a dealmaking tool is 'too far on their development queue' (as opposed to things that bring an immediate boost of rake, like stud leaderboards ).

I think it's pretty obvious they don't allow deals to avoid the perception of collusion, Imagine how it looks to a fish when every time they bust, the 2 regs in their game just click make a deal, chop, and end it. 1000000 comments on spins being rigged / etc., just a super bad look and it's their huge money maker atm they want it to see as random, short, and fun as possible to the fish, not have them seeing trends of cartels of dumb regs chopping post-fish bustout in 8/10 of their games

This doesn't explain why deals are allowed at FTP.

Stars don't even need to develop a fully functional deal tool like at FTP; they can simply enable a fixed 40%/30%/30% pre-game deal option (30% to each plus 10% to the eventual winner; or rather, 1000 BIs to each plus 600 BIs to the winner) like the WPN, which will reduce the variance if all the three players want it and also prevent the abovementioned embarrassment about regs making a deal HU.

They should develop an "agree to all in blind" button to appeal to the Russian players.

FTP has always had a built in deal functionality, for all tournaments, it's not something they added for spins, they just didn't expressly remove it, which is more likely to be an oversight than anything else tbh.

I prefere no deal avaible, just take out the regs with too much fear or variance or low Bankroll, plus the argument make by primo is very important. (colusion)

tbh i think i wouldnt use the deal option in the vast majority of the games i play

I play on ftp and have never seen regs chop HU. Only been offered this type of deal once.

Just won't happen

Yeah doesn't happen on FTP and wouldn't happen on Stars in any organised or widespread fashion. Good regs avoid each other and won't agree to split with worse regs.

wait til you lose > 240x multipliers 3 or 4 times and see how your perception on this matter will change…

Also, I really don't see problem with collusion of any sort. For low multiplier it's not like fish is gonna stick around to watch heads-up game and complain about two regs sharing profit. For high multiplier, it's a good deal for everyone to walk out 30k $ or w/e without playing. Even in a high multiplier game with 2 regs and 1 fish, the two regs should take the deal while 3 handed. The edge is so small that on one single game that reg shouldn't care about losing some of it in exchange to massive variance reduction. It's not like you are gonna play 1k high multiplier games in your lifetime. I'd be happy to take 33% deal on any of those, and everyone should be.

i loose one 3000x and one 240x already! and i still think in the longterm is it way better for me, and for the game this game in general to not having deal avaible.
