Hey guys I have played roughly 900 spin and gos recently and at first I was up 52+ BIs (around 62 if you count rakeback from the games), currently I am on a downswing where I am only +7 including the rakeback meaning that I'm actually in the negative not counting it. What is a normal downswing for spin and go regs as far as BIs?

My ITM is still good (39% according to playerscope), but I've just been getting crucified as far as my luck goes, just in the past day I have 60 2nd places where the difference between 2nd and first is $2, around 160 total in the last 500 games.

In the last 500 I have:
150 wins
160 2nd places
Rest are DNPs either in 3rd or 4th

Depends on how good you are, but downswings in excess of 100 bi will happen to almost everyone, with 150-200 bi downswings being a normal thing as well unless you're quite solid.

Apparently, you're talking about 888poker BLAST. The 39% ITM is a poor result there; for comparison, the theoretical average player (whose ROI would be exactly minus the rake) would have a ~37% ITM (which is the weighted average of 25% in 2x games, 50% in 5x ones, 75% in 10x-100x and 100% in 1Kx-10Kx).

My EV ITM in $5-15 BLAST was ~42% last autumn, and even so, my EV ROI was only a couple of % (in the 80% confidence interval of 0-4%). The rake is a real issue (as well as my utter laziness when it comes to study and HUD design, of course).

You seem really good at 2x multiplier games, though, with the 30% 1st place finish (1.2 times higher than the 'average' 25%). Perhaps I'd be good at them as well if I dug deep into the population tendencies (donks' ranges for openshoving 30 bb and opening to 4 bb).

It's around 42% for the last 500 games, although it can be a bit deceptive as ITM in 56% of tournaments is $2, while in other 40% it's just $1.50. Simultaneously doing well in the 10x can literally save your day vs ITM in the 2xers or even 5xs doesn't necessarily do that much for you.

Today I swung around 45 BIs positive, so I'm pretty much at where I was when I made the thread. Just going to keep putting in volume and see where it takes me.

What about plo spin and go what the roi on that ?

How can you play $100 spins and not know the basics of the payouts ?
