Spotted one minor typo:

Page 165, you mentioned "Td 8s 2h flop there are a variety of straight draws possible, the highest of which is Q-9." I think QJ is the highest though

Very good read so far, enjoying it much! =)

Of course you are correct. Dumb mistake :/. Glad it's going well otherwise though .

I guess you have been asked this a lot, but when are you planning on publishing the volume 2?

Whenever it's done! Hopefully by summer. My videos for husng.com, however, should be ready in a couple days...

Haha, that's a reasonable answer. :P

What are you majoring at Cornell? Com Sci?

Yea, the list of videos (possibly subject to change) is:
- Intro video
- Solving simple asymmetric river situations with Gambit
- Decision tree based post-game analysis (2 parts)
- Right and wrong ways to use "non-auto-profit" calculations
- Split pot river situations (2 parts)
- River structure and play from the BB with one bet left behind
- Reading your own range: how and why

The idea is to build on the book and discuss some extra/more advanced topics and applications -- there won't be too much overlap between the book and videos.

I'm a materials engineer, but I do all computational work. I was CS and physics as an undergrad.

Hey Will,

these videos that you're talking about will be released as a video pack on HUSNG.com or just as free material for the site?

Thx

Another minor typo: on Page 186, I think Qh 7d 2h flop should be Qh 7s 2h instead.

It will likely end up being a 4-5 hour video pack, designed to be watched after consuming the book.

We're not sure on pricing, but it will definitely be double digit pricing, so it will be one of the more affordable packs and while I haven't seen it yet, it should be an excellent value at that price.

Took the posts about the book from the other general book thread and moved it in here now that the video is also available.

Continue to ask Will any questions and leave him feedback. Really happy to have this video series on the site to compliment the book.

i see the price for the pack is 59$ with the book included, but as u mentioned some sites before. Guys which are buyin the book in advance doesnt have disadvantages. So is there any possibility to buy the Pack without the book included and how much would that cost?

Could write u an email, but im sure a lot of guys have this question.

Video pack is almost 6 hours, and $59 alone. Sorry if that wasn't clear, let me know if it says "$59 for both" anywhere or implies it, I'll fix it up, this one took me quite a few hours into the wee night to build last night.

We ended up selling them separately because it didn't make sense to sell them as a bundle, when we're not fulfilling book orders, and we'd have to handle the money and pay a full receiving fee + perhaps an unnecessary sending fee.

Plus the print book is sold on Amazon/Barnes/etc. difficult to handle fulfillment when we nor the publisher sells the print book direct.

So all in all, given we've had this thread going awhile now, we decided separate was a better way to handle this.

Okey, sorry for that.

I was irritated cause i saw the title with.

"Will Tipton Book + Video Pack"

Did add it to my cart just to see if there was another description to make that clear.

But found again on the cart you the description

"Will Tipton Book + Video Pack Qty 1 $59.00"

So that was the reason.

Thats why it was confusing. Maybe you just add in one description there, because there is nothing to find there.

But however, ill gonna still buy it :P

Ah, that makes sense, didn't even realize the product title was like that.

I'll get that changed today.

Absolutely book first, then videos. Will made the videos with the book having been read in mind, so definitely go through the book first.
