So, I have a few questions for you wonderful chaps (and chapettes) in the 2+2 community. Bear in mind that I'm a pretty good player, certainly good enough to beat the micro stakes. I'm starting from the bottom just to sort of move up and see what my winrate is for each level. I'm pretty new to heads-up but relatively accomplished at 6-max cash poker and low-mid level MTTs. I have played a decent amount of heads-up before though (weekly cash game with a friend, final tables of tournaments and a few hundred sit and go's at various stakes over the last year. I just want to do a proper bankroll this time. So with that in mind:

For the lowest stakes (up to about $15), considering I'm sure I'm a winning player at these levels, how many buy-ins are needed? I was planning on like 30.

What are the biggest jumps in difficulty in the stakes (I play on Stars).

Should I start off 1-tabling?

40 buy-ins is fine if you're willing to move down. You can take shots with 30 though.

How you manage your bankroll depends on how good you are, if you think you can crush a limit you can move up more aggressively.

Are we talking about Hypers/turbos/reg speeds here?

Thanks, I'll be more careful and put an extra 10 in then. I am willing to move down. Was gonna go for a system where I move up when I have 30 BI for next level but will do 40 for safety. Will move down if I go under that.

Because I've never done a proper heads-up bankroll it's difficult to estimate my skill level. I'd say I'm fairly certain I can crush up to at least $15 but after that I'm really not sure what kind of ROI I can hold down.

So far I've been doing a mix of all the HUSNG games, including all the speeds and some of the larger (4/32 man) ones.
