Haha, thank you sir. Garbage is actually my middle name.

Beginner ICMIZER 2 question here.

- I am calculating a calling range against villain open-jam at 15bb, which I presume to include A2-A8o, A2-A8s, 22-99
- When ICMIZER highlights a range which is +EV to call, does it include the blind or not?
- In other words, should I only call the hands which are highlighted in green color as +EV in chips, or should I include hands which are -EV, but less than the big blind in chips.

I would really appreciate any comments!

ICMIZER already counts in that you posted blind. So you should call only hands in green.

I'm playing $1,50 hyper turbo heads up on Pokerstars. Normally my RIO is about 3%. But in the last days i run kind of ugly.

In words: I played 275 games and lost 50,36 buy-ins.

Ofc i know the sample-size is extremly small and my EV isnt looking so well either during that time. But I wanne know:

What is the probability that something like this happens? Is it already outside of the width of 3 standard deviations?
Any math wizards here who can help me?

You have a great opportunity to work on your game, man.

That is the way it is.

Losing streaks should motivate you the most.

Do not try to rationalize anything. Just study and play. **** happens.

Remember: you can always put your game to a higher level.

Somewhat unrelated but dont bother with $1.50's, theyre just for learning really imo, 8% rake too high and skill gap not noticably different from $3.50's.

I haven't played in a long time. I was trying to grind levels (7s and 15s) when Spin n Go was released and it sucked up all the fish from HU.

Are Spins now grindable? I remember reading scary stuff about the variance.

Also, I think they increased the rake around this time so this coupled with the drop in traffic made the HU games less fun. Just wondering what the current landscape is.

Plenty of HU action at 7$ and 15$ level! It's the stakes higher than those that have been impacted most negatively by spins or just lost a lot of action in general.

I have no idea about spins tho.

Spins are plenty beatable and profitable EatFish.

When they were launched, there was a lot of emotional fear based reactions and a great deal of them were disproved within the first 6 months.

What do you know about jackpot games on other sites like party, iPoker and microgaming in terms of action, "grindable" and rake?

Not enough to know if they are as good an option as Stars.

I should know that answer though, so I will look into it.

ok but who is beating spins ? not so long ago we had access to the players results in spin and goes from spinlyzer and exepted couple lucky players there was no reg beatin the game constantly ... look at bighusla with all the work he put in this game ended up beaten up ... coffeeyay gave up pretty much ... simpledude and captnkrunch are back in HU turbos ... so spins seems to be the worse option so far

I didn't give up... I moved to the US for family reasons. I played on US sites during this period. I'm now back in Europe grinding 100s spins on Stars since this summer. Games are good, plenty of people making good sums of money. The variance is worse than HU, but not as bad as 6-max or even close to as bad as MTTs.

what do you think is the highest theoretically achievable evroi at 100s these days ?

Theoretically everyone will just open fold to you, in which case you can win about 100% of games.

you can also always flop the nuts and get paid off every single time. pretty unlikely, but whatever can happen will happen. given u can create more than 100% ev i think 600% ev shud be the maximum longterm.

That's not what I saw on spinlyzer. Many were on pace to make over 100k a year without hitting the big one.

You can use the example of one player in any game to make a point of that game getting more or less profitable but it's akin to saying one town has median income go up/down by a lot, so the entire country must be prosperous/failing.

Simpledude example doesn't make sense to me, the guy has switched action from HU to Spins several times and crushes at basically everything. None of his switches have signaled the games changing imo.

Games may have drastically changed for the worse in the last 5-6 months, but I don't see any indicators to argue it's largely different than from when spinlyzer was showing us what's really up.

Does anyone know lowest rake for hyper micros up to about $5? Saw an old list suggested ACR had very low rake like 2.7% on the $5 games though this was 2012..
