Webmaster was performing some updates. He meant to do it a few hours earlier, since most Euros and USA would not be on, but he got to it a bit later, so it hit early Euro morning time.

Everything should work now, but please report any bugs, thanks.

This is nothing short of amazing, around 4 months ago he was playing $2 mtt, and heads up for like $15. Then in November in the space of 7 days he had the following two scores:

Agrobot_388Z came away with the lion's share of the prize pool, collecting $225,689 after a five-way deal

no deal was necessary as Agrobot_388Z won the Sunday Million outright, the $224,550 first-place prize pushing his eight-day total to a staggering $450,239.

I am not really into conspiracy theories etc but how in the space of four months does someone go from being at best a 1% roi winner at $7 games to endless massive scores? Can someones game change this much so quickly? Anyways I feel 100% certain he will either win this HU tcoop or deal on final table. I think the odds of the same person playing now to be the same as four months ago very slim assuming there is nothing shady going on.

Then yesterday runner up in a $200 hu TCOOP. He/she isn't on player find and has blocked stats on all sites so I don't know about any other big cashes over the last four months. I know some good players have gone to a site and played a few real low stake games to get used to software and/or to initially have an edge v high stake players who initially assume they are low stake fish. But none who would do this for a couple of years.

In around ten years of playing online this is the most rapid 'overnight' improvement I have seen of any player. If it was a horse race in the UK where a horse hadn't won for three years then romps home there would be an enquiry. An enquiry does not mean wrongdoing by any means but its simply something people do out of curiousity/protect interests when something out of the blue happens. I am pretty sure when pokerstars see someone win $200,000 back to back they look into it. But often it can be hard to find something if you don't know what you are looking for as you haven't seen it before.
Busted?

i'm liking that flux program.

it would be cool if there was a desktop background that worked with a program like flux where the desktop background also changes depending on the time of day and the weather in your location.

i wouldn't really want an animated background... but maybe one that gradually changes and also uses the flux to change the brightness, tint, etc.

You can't tell me that a Saturday is the ideal day for a server restart. I'd bet it's one of the busiest days on the Stars.

would definitely be interested in this info if anyone found a way to figure it out. something tells me my current sleeping schedule is less than optimal for getting in max games/hr. that or turbos are confirmed dead.

Sometimes I may make a post and it is wrong but not intentionally. This shows why if someone makes a wrong presumption as long as it is not deliberate they should still be given a chance to comment on more players in the future. I believe if anyone online suspects some foul play they should speak out and if a few people say the same thing it gets looked into. Online pokersites have such a hard time preventing breaches of T and C and i commend pokerstars on this instance and feel it is a shame he withdrew $200,000 but at least players affected have been compensated. Often players are allowed to withdraw all funds and then have accounts closed, for the money to be taken back and redistributed means pokerstars are 100% certain he is a cheat. Anyways I am going back to the shadows now.

p.s. people have been asked for money via my skype the last few days it was not me, all my email accounts and skype etc were hacked. I think it is hard for people to fool for these hackers but always be careful if in skype u are asked for money on neteller. Messages similar to:

[10:25:03] : I need 1k swap to neteller , can send back to pokerstars
[10:25:18] : you can you help?

this thread is often slow moving. need something to bring it back to life. maybe i can win $100,000,000 euromillions and lose a load to Gus Hansen to get him back in the black? Anyways I found an old story of something I did that a long time SNE posted that made me chuckle

http://pokerplaythesoapway.blogspot....7/punterz.html

Punterz
I never knew how to take Punterz as seemed to get into numerous spats on the forum. However one thing I always did have was massive respect for his game and I rate him very highly. If he is sat at a heads up table I would not sit down as I prefer to play when odds are in my favour and Im not sure they are v him. However, despite the spats etc I have seen some massive acts of kindness like giving people chips back when disconnected etc even in big money events.

Anyway the point of all this - I copy and paste the below story from Azimuts blog which I think is piss funny. One lad I know Carl told me about the pressure he was put on by locals to do a deal to get a Micky Mouse return aso I know where Punterz is coming from especially as he was probably best player at the table.

Latest info from Vegas. Following Punterz Caesars Palace win he took them on at Treasure Island last night. This was a smaller tourney but once again he made the final table. This time the other nine players all wanted to do a deal. Punterz refused. They were not happy and a few were going off it but he still said no way.He eventually knocked them out and got heads up with 80% of the chips in play. Most of the ones who were after a deal were still standing watching the outcome hoping he would lose. So what did he do? He offered a deal to the other guy. And of course the other guy was happy to accept a 50/50 cut.A classic piss take by Punterz. Cost him a few hundred dollars but well worth it. Love that one!

Above is copied from Azimuts blog which is a quality read - I have it linked on the right so check it out.

(I think I had at least 90% of the chips in play!)

Great word, especially from a Norweigan. Do you have a word for it in Norwiegan? If nobody else will love me then I have to love myself. Doug Lee....what a poker legend! I am sure he will get another bracelet soon!

Wow , Stars support has gone insane , always hated them but this is an all time low.

Had to stop playing because of way too much lag a few days ago .. timed out , folded hands , got blinded out .. lost volume , today same thing.

Requested a refund and this was the response I got.

Thank you for your email.

First of all I want to apologize for the problems you have been experiencing while trying to play. We are aware that the servers from the London England Server are not responding properly to the network test. We are looking into this matter and trying to find new servers to perform this test in the area. We can assure you that this will not affect your connection to PokerStars as our servers are not located in the same region.

After reviewing your play for the last 3 days we found in total 10 tournaments (all $15 Hyper-turbo heads up) where there had been some problems with disconnection and time outs. After going through the hand histories I found the following:

- In 7 out of the 10 tournaments you defeated your opponent and won, so thankfully the effects of the problems were not huge there. As it would make no sense to refund you the buy-in in these cases (seeing that you won more than it) we obviously let you keep your winnings for all these tournaments.

- Tournament #903338914: Only slight problems one hand, a hand you would have lost anyway if you attempted to call down with King high.

- Tournament #903879138 : Same as above, slight problems, but they actually saved you in a hand where I assume you would have called down and lost more chips.

- Tournament #903877637 : Here you were affected in one hand that you otherwise would have won, and that would have given you a better chance of winning the tournament. We have credited back the buy-in for this tournament.

This means that we in total have credited your account back with $15, equivalent to one buy-in. From the tone of your email I assume you are not going to be happy with that decision, but please know that this decision has nothing to do with 'insulting you'. It is simply taken based on the fact that we had no issues in your part of the world, and that we have refund procedures to follow.
