if it's the guy i'm thinking of (and not someone with a very similar name)... then he's a very good player IMO.

i thought his name was just cat5cane... but maybe i remember it wrong

Okay, so basically I should sit him for educational purposes and whatnot.

Yeah, he's pretty good..has played higher but looks like he came down to the $100s after a downswing based on his graphs. He's a tool but still a good player. Still sits me and talks **** despite the fact that I've gotten my chips in way ahead every time (possibly one exception but I know not more than that) I've played him. Not sure he's really worth playing for educational purposes, he plays pretty straightforward against anyone decent from what I've seen.

lol @ the predatorial nature of HU reg's and the methods to avoid detection.

Glad I don't play these anymore......I'd be raped more so than I ever used to be!

When you quote him and it has the correct version (without numbers), it's going to show up in google anyway. So now you need to edit your post.

cat5caIIne has been very very aggressive vs. the regs on the $100's today. Dude has also played 50 games today (49 of them $100 +5) and is up $430... so there's your idea of how well he's doing. He's a little too aggro imo... he sat me today and I just played him like a nit and took it down fairly easy in 15min.

I can't figure out if you think $430 is good or bad. That's like 8% or something?

Its not bad .. but its not great either. The regs on $100 stars typically play a lil smaller volume (not all, but more so than not) and have an roi between 10-20 on decent days. For example today I played 8 games and went 7-1. Celez played 23 and went 18-5, khumalo only played 2 and went 2-0.. etc etc

How and why do you track the daily results of various regs at the $100s, out of curiosity? I can't seem to see the point.

Pretty sure he just wanted to brag about how he made more in 8 games than cat5 made in 50.

How: SS

Why: Because these are the same people that I share the lobby with everyday. You occasionally jump in at the same time -- chop -- exchange info and end up railing for the other person from time to time. Always good to keep up on how successful someone is and then watch them to see how they are doing it. We all have our own styles but that doesn't mean we still can't learn from each other.

Wow, that's pretty conscientious of you. I just usually sit first, cross my fingers, and assume everything will work out.

I always sit first too (its the only way to get a game at $100 on PStars) -- but we take turns... there's almost always more than one of us on at a time and its *not proper etiquette* to sit.. have a fishy sit you.. then insta-sit the next lobby.
