1. won $250
2. watched terminator salvation
3. went to the grocery store
4. won $200 more
5. hit on the milf that lives next door to me
6. went on a 4mile run
7. did some multiple regression analysis on spss for a mkt research project
8. won $190 to cap night off
9. watched sportscenter (twice)

... and then you finally won....

Hey all, looking for advice. I am thinking about moving up to $100 husngs within the next few weeks, currently am crushing the $50 husngs on FT. My overall ss stats are approx 2600 games, $31 av stake, 20% roi for hu, which obviosuly is extremely good. I feel extremely confident in my small ball husng game, but I'm kind of a bankroll nit. Will 30 buy ins for the $100s on FT be enough for me. I think it obv will be but just looking for some thoughts/advice. Also, what roi can I expect at the 100s as compared to the 50s, 14% roi attainable?? Also, how hard of a transition is it? I know its been kind of up and down for Cog Dissonance who recently switched to the 100s. Thanks in advance for anyones advice, really appreciate it.

There are others who are winning players but rarely play, like Jennifer Harman.

100s are not harder than 50s in regular speeds at FTP. I think 20% is running good, although maybe you have some special cheat codes or something. 14% is doable, especially one-tabling.

3k is enough, if you get uncomfortable during a downswing just drop back to 50s.

14% would be inanely good and make you the #1 $100 reg on FTP. 20% is unbelievably sick over 2600 games and u have essentially thrown away a ton of equity by not moving up sooner.

We have played before but I don't remember much about your game tbh. If you can maintain 5%+ then u really should be happy IMO. One tabling I guess more is attainable, but by the sounds of things u should be moving up.

30BI's is heaps to move up with if your winrate is really that high, I mean 30BI's is heaps anyways. So yes move up.

and fwiw, I've played both Harman and traniello in husngs and they're both terrible imo.

"Terrible," in your terms, apparently doesn't mean they're losing.

I know you guys are on this little kick where you think all regs suck and blah blah, and it's all fine and dandy, but considering we're talking about winning players, "terrible" is probably not the best term.

Good luck getting that prescription to stick. It is a longstanding and universal tradition that 'terrible,' 'awful,' 'horrible,' 'terribad,' 'godawful,' and '******ed' are just about the only qualifiers 2p2ers are able to formulate when criticizing any player deemed inferior to whatever degree, from the guy who never folds bottom pair to some reg with leaks in one or two spots.

Ok then:

Traniello = terrible
Harman = also terrible but not quite as much as traniello.

fwiw, neither of them are regs. But both of them are pretty bad with traniello def terrible.

Only thing I heard of him is from Timex-McDonalds Blog:

"Seat 3: Mario Adinolfi- Recreational italian player, sometimes defended blinds with 62o or called 10BB shoves with 63s, although his chances of winning were probably better than a couple people at the final table, hes one of the guys who I plan on getting a lot of value from."

I never played either Harman or Traniello, but I can't imagine they play a lot of HUSNG's. (I sharkscoped Harman and she has 40 on full tilt). But most of us are basically HUSNG specialists, playing thousands and thousands of these uniquely structured poker games. I bet if you played her in a cash game heads up for a few thousand hands, you might think differently about how terrible she is.

Absolutely agree. At no point in time did i say i was a better all round poker player than her. This is the HUSNG regs thread, and all i was saying was that she is terrible at HUSNG's imo.

Im not saying im better than her at poker blah blah, all i was saying is shes pretty terrible in husng's from what ive seen of her: 2 tabled her for 4 games.

i'd snapsit pretty much all ftp pro's who play hu sng's occassionally; christian kruel being first, brandon adams, scott fischman, etc. all of them snapsnap not even close
they may be good at live donkaments/cash/whatever but most have no clue what to do in hu sng's indeed

Edit: except for nordberg he's pretty good

ok i'm on a mission to destroy MrH03bi

the guy gets outplayed all game and all he ever does is moan that he doesn't run good. he's done that everytime i have sat him.

sits there getting chippiing away at until he moans about running bad then sucks out in push fold with 30% or w/e

such an easy game everytime he sits

everyone else just sit him until he's busto imo
