That may be so, as I have never heard of this treezer character since I do not play stars very much at all. But I can say that if treezer is mharju on ftp (plauzee's partner in the 4 mans), I was not all that impressed. I think I got matched vs him 2 or 3 of the 7 matches we played, but I watched him play my partner too. And I had notes on him before having played him a couple times, and that was the reason I entered in the first place (i normally do not four man regularly). I will try and scrape up some HHs when I find the time, but overall I just remember him being very very loose. I remember one hand where I overjammed the river with air on something like q 7 8 7 k and he snapped off qt with absolutely 0 thinking. I think in order to do that you either have to be the absolute sickest or you just suck, and I admit when I saw it, I definitely thought it was the latter. But hey, maybe I'm wrong. Even still, I think a good player at least thinks. There were other instances too where I was just not impressed. But again, it was a very small sample size.
And for the record, I didn't come on here and flex my muscles. He came on here calling me and my partner "wannabe regs" and I merely responded. I admit in the chat I asked him if he thought he was good, which was what started the conversation after he had repeatedly said "lol" in the chatbox and was being sarcastic. I folded q10 on a q high board on the turn to a 4 bet jam and told him what i had. Then when I folded a few hands later to a 3 bet shove preflop, he said something like, "q10 again, nh? lol." And that was when I asked him if he thought he was good. And then I told him that he should probably find another partner. Either way, by the end of it, I had 0 heart feelings, until I came on here and saw him talking crap saying he crushed us and acting all tough challenging me to ego-driven bets.
Then I stumbled upon the guys blog and read about how proud he was to be friends with this treezer guy and how they met and fell in love (and how he mentioned his name in any part of his life where he could possibly get the opportunity).
Then I realized how ****ing cool this dude was and how much I wanted to be like him, so I went to his frequently asked question part of his blog and discovered exactly how I become a top player in hu sngs!
“Are there any general advises you can give to players who wanna become top player in HU SNGs?“
If you wanna play $115+ you need a very clear mindset, tableselection and BRM. It’s more important than anything else and the key to success! If you are able not to tilt as much as other regs at your stakes you have best chances to become one of the best there, even at higher stakes.
The, mother fkkkking, end.
