Given that I don't actually have the mind of a baller, I'm pretty sure I'm going to wake up tomorrow and think OH MY GOD YOU JUST RISKED 1k ON A 52% PROPOSITION 13 TIMES WHAT THE **** EACH BUY-IN IS LIKE LUNCH FOR A YEAR THAT'S A LOT OF FRESH MOZARELLA TOMATO AND BASIL.

I think January-August will be time set aside for me to explore the high stakes life. Otherwise, I think I will always wonder what would have happened. No guts no glory.

you know what i hate about this ******ed shortstack form of poker we play? is when i build the pot with a big hand so that the river is less than a psb and i face an all-in when the straight/flush gets there and i just know that my set/non-nut flush/non-nut straight (and not 4 to a straight/flush on the board either) is beat every single damn time. yet i can't fold because it's less than a psb and i have a strong hand. i'm good like 1 out of 30 times.

or when i have top two or top/middle two and i get minraised on the turn and there's a possible straight. i'm cooked every damn time by a straight or some flopped set. but by that point pot is so big that i feel like i can't fold. i'd rather call a turn shove than the dreaded mother of all transparent nut moves: the turn checkminraise.
