i managed to reconnect in mine, but i was down 2 to 1 chips at that point.

and i never actually disconnected. the program froze so i had to shut it down and restart it. i didn't mention that in my original email to them. maybe i should email them again and tell them the program froze?

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

We have reviewed your account and see you experienced connectivity issues while playing on our site.

We understand situations like these are frustrating. However, we have determined our servers were fully operational at the time of your disconnection, and we cannot make adjustments because of Internet conditions beyond our control.

We have reviewed your play history and confirmed that, fortunately, you were able to reconnect to the software and finish your tournament.

Before you connect to our software, your internet connection travels through 5 to 30 different third party servers, none of which are owned by Full Tilt Poker. If any of those servers are experiencing technical difficulties, your connection to our servers will be affected. When you sit at a table or tournament, you accept the potential risks playing in an online card room, and we are unable to assume responsibility for external connectivity issues.

If you constantly have connection problems, please let us know and we will assist you with any technical issues.

We appreciate your understanding, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time.

I don't get any love from FTP on my numerous tiny requests (add me to the bank wire test group, increase my bank transfer limit, that sort of stuff) even after 17k in rake in 2009. Don't get too tilted filthy, it's not my experience that they're any nicer.

I've received a couple refunds of buyins when I was DCed. In both cases, the disconnection was not my fault, but neither FTPs. Instead, it was one of the hosts between me and them.

Also, these all occurred when I played 30s and below, so they weren't shipping me $200 or something.

Both times they said it was a "one-time" deal.

This is probably very similar to my circumstances. I had net here but couldn't connect to FTP.

Any reads on thephenom, I think hes way too nitty too ever be considered good, like its impossible to be that nitty and be good, but coz hes so tight its hard to have a big edge on him. Im sure Ill destroy him if he continues to play me tho.

thephenom919? Not the same reads I had on him, but the last time we played like once over a year ago I believe. Not at all worth sitting imo, he's a pretty good and experienced player.

Don't you think the big winners are going to adapt at some point? I mean you might temporarily have an edge until he adjusts and quits being a nit vs you.

Yeah the Phenom919 is a really solid player, maybe a little nitty at 75 or 50 bb, but he knows what to do when stacks get small.

Yea, he sits very liberally. If you don't kill heads or anything, I'd expect to be sat by him for awhile. Just play well when you end up against him, don't berate and he, like other good regulars will see you're good and not worth playing eventually.

that is a douchey slowroll. but we have probably all slowrolled once or twice. i haven't heard other examples of him being a douche.

actually i think i have slowrolled only once or twice, definitely less than 5 times. there have been times i wanted to be a dick, or the guy deserved it, but i would just go ahead and click call right away because i would ****ing explode with fury if i got disconnected while slworolling someone
