Hi,

I used to be a regular with a healthy roi at the 30s, back in 2013-2014. Since then I've focused on other stuff and took a break from playing. Now I get the feeling that the game has changed a bit with different preflop ideas, like limping way more. When I put in most of my volume, mers's ebook was my bible, but I've heard coffeeyay saying that some aspects of that is a bit outdated now.

So, what are your thoughts on limping? What kind of ranges do you limp at different stack dephts readless? What kind of ranges do you minraise? Do you minraise at all under 15bb? Any other ideas on how the game has changed over the last couple of years?

Sincerely

You're not far off, now pretty much everyone competent is limping more than they're minraising (vs other good players, anyway) at pretty much every depth. You might want to look into a way to get a pack or join a stable with good preflop ranges, because people these days don't give that sort of stuff out for free. That said, limping is pretty good because mr/folding really sucks, even at 25bb.

You can minraise under 15bb, but it'll be a pretty small percentage of the time. Beyond that, I think people (at least decent regs) have a somewhat better theoretical understanding of betsizings than they did in 2013-2014.

Hope this helps and sorry I couldn't say more, but this sort of range info is at least somewhat guarded these days in general.
