35 hands in. Villain had been checking back with overcards on this type of board texture and had a very low cbet % so I believed his cbet to be value weighted. Is it ok to gii on the flop here. If I have my sums right I don't have enough equity vs villains range if called, and flatting seems like a bad option. So is this actually a fold otf? I'm confused.

Thanks

Why are you checking flop with that description?

That's a good point, I probably should have lead flop here, and if I'm correct I can profitably call if I lead half pot and villain jams over as I need 35% equity which is pretty much what I have vs villains range right?

Does that mean that taking this line vs aggressive villains is a viable option also as it seems to set up the hand better equity wise?

Meh. I prefer leading here if villain fails cbetting. If they're aggressive they can still cbet/fold a ton of hands vs checkraise. If you're somewhat deeper can go for the lead/3bet all-in.

Thanks. That makes a lot of sense.

I'm unsure what you mean when you say that lead/3b all in becomes an option as stacks get deeper though. Are you saying that if I expect villain to raise my lead with a wide range, at deeper eff stacks I have enough fold equity to make lead/3b all in a better option than x/call or x/raise?

Have I got the right idea here?
