EV line almost no variance after 18,000 hypers, normal?

after 18,000 games at hypers the most I've dropped is around 18 buyins EV from any point, my EV ROI is 3.8%. I know hypers is known for it's crazy variance and I do experience 50-150 buyin drops myself, but the EV is relatively stable. Im just wondering if it's just due to good luck or is the EV line supposed to be this low variance?
