Hi guys,

I was thinking, I listen everywhere en see everywhere on vids some calling range out of position. Obv this depend of % of minraise and % cbet but I have a question.

Is that possible to build an optimal range oop in function of 1/% raise of my opponent and 2/% of cbet?

Imagine an opponent who open 70% btn en Cbet 80%. How I can build a range oop? How I know if T7s is better to call than fold than 3bet?

In fact, I would like to have a global range that i will adjust vs other opponent but to do this I have to have a basic range and this is this basic range that i want to build but I dont know how.

Could you help me dotcom guys

If opponent is opening wide like 70%+ then you want to be playing as much as possible OOP. Otherwise you are not under that much pressure and can be a little more selective. Here is how I think about it:
1) select hands to value 3bet nai vs this opponent also that will dominate his range postflop if called
2) put into 3bet shove range Ax,pocket pairs that are not in 3bet nai value range if they are +ev vs this opponent's opening range
3) put into your flatting range rest of the hands that play well postflop and/or have a good chance to dominate his 70% opening
4) add to 3bet nai range bluffs, something like 1:1 or 1:2 value:bluff ratio depending on the opponent
5) add a few other hands to 3betshove range, so it will be around 10-17% of hands total, depending on the opponent, vs a wide opener you have big fold equity but don't want to make this too obvious so 10-17% of total hands should be enough IMO

Just my opinions on this, btw there were a couple of threads on the subject here just last week (actually about 3betting but it leads to this anyways), feel free to check them out!

Agree with everything, but still don't know how to build my flat range properly, which % should I defend Vs different OR?.

How to adjust Vs OR: 50%, 70% and 90%

Wich hands are the last in the flatting range for each one? (Supose that villain has an standard postlfop)

Build a 'standard tree' in CREV.
Run it and see which hands are + EV for BB.
Keep modifying pre-flop/postflop to have 'realistic behaviour'.
Hands that keep appearing are extremely likely good hands to be played.
Then you see if those hands are maybe better in 3bet ranges.

Some articles of annual poker bot compititors said they ran 2 instances against each other and after a while selected the better strategy and continued to run to arrive finally with a 'GTOisch solution' as the program tried to exploit maximally itself.
Therefore, is it so bad to start with assuming that 'pop tendancies' are 'GTOisch solution' vs the population at the moment ? And once you have found a good reason to deviate from it to move on?

I really need to start using this program, Icmizer and flopzilla are not enough to continue progressing as a poker player.

Thank you for the Info, what you said sounds totally fine for me.
