This was villains first 3-bet of the match. I made my first 3-bet last hand and he folded. Villain seemed pretty straightforward and not too spewy so far. Did I play this okay?

4 hands in without any real hands or reads.

Villain folded his first button, 3bet my first button raise, limped his second button and check flop / fold turn, and 3bet my second button (this hand)

I read the thread about people 4betting AK, and that made me think about AQ.

Normally before i would probably only flatted AQ but not sure how to play it.

Is this standard against most villains?

I just played about 1200 games at the $6 and $11 turbo on Full Tilt. At $6 I had a 7% ROI over 300 games, at $11 I had 5% over 900. I moved up to the $22, and dropped 20 buy ins in my first 200 games. I ran very very bad, but I was wondering, is the competition that much better at the $22's? On the surface it seemed to be the same as the previous two levels, but I was only scoping a couple of people. This swing seems kind of big, is it normal to have a swing like this?

16 hands in, my image is aggro, I have been cbetting almost 100% and barrelling anytime time iv'e had a 2nd pair+ or a decent draw, just a quick question, is my hand worth 3 streets of value here or should I check the river? Villain has been calling wide OOP, calling alot of cbets but not really calling a barrel without TP+ Thanks for your time.

This question is asked almost everyday and the answer is really no, the players are the same but alot of them have more experience against different opponents and adjusting better so bear that in mind.

Has he raised OOP at all? I'm going for three streets here basically always if he's loose / passive / calls a lot and expecting them to call down with basically any K and even some strong Qs, dependent on how full of **** they think we are. I'm betting turn maybe 180 though and river 420 or so (as played) I think.

In the future when you post hands an idea is to replace the river in this case with Hero ??? so we can't see what villain did .

sorry, but i do think there is a gap. i started at the 6.25 about 3weeks ago with a roi of 10, moved up to the 11.5 with a roi of 15 (both under 250games though) and now played my first 30games at the 23 ones, and imo there is no gap between the 6.25 and the 11.5 ones, but the 23 are harder.
when i play the 11.5 about 8 of 10 villains got a negative roi on sharkscope, at the 23 there are the first real regs who seem to make some side income with poker.

at the 11.5 you see ridiculous stuff on a regulary basis, like:

i didnt came across a hand that was on the same awful level like these in the 23. and in the 11.5 they are common.every fourth game is a joke.
could be the small sample size though, will see in the future if i come across such spew at the 23s,hopefully, but for now i have to grind my 23s losses back at the 11.5

ok cos I'm totally lost on these 2 things:

as a general principle, when do we want to c/r the flop, and when do we want to lead oop on flop?

i'd be grateful if anyone can give me some pointers re: board texture, our current hand and villain type in relation to these 2 actions on the flop

cheers

Merge (Carbon, Sportsbook type skins are on there), Bodog and UB/AP are the other sites with husng traffic in the US.

Cake is fine, they had some security issues recently but the action you'll find there is likely good by all accounts.

This hand wasn't played by me.. but I'm really interested in your thoughts. Villain's been raising superwide and cbetting 85% of time. Is overbet shoving turn a better play in this spot?

Hey guys

First post I make here in the SnG HU Forums, not sure if I should just make a whole new topic for it or post it anywhere

Anyway, I am "winner" (as far as you can really win much at those stakes) @ 2nl / 5NL for bout $200. I have recently started looking a bit at Micro Stakes HU SNG, especially @ PLO. So I have been doing some, think I played around 20 today, I broke even (or barely gained or lost, not much more than a $1 either way) At any rate; Had some questions! (Be prepared for some ******ed Q's btw. I suck at HU, but the competition is so weak it aint hard to break even)

1) In PLO I have noticed that people almost never fold preflop to a pot raise. Is it still worth raising OTB with a bad-medicore hand, knowing ur going to get called anyway?
2) If I raise OTB with rags and the flop is pretty dry (as far you can have a dry flop in Omaha) and I miss; is it worth making a small c-bet?

I know 2 (and perhaps 1 too?) depend pretty much on the opponent you have, but i have noticed that sometimes a 2 takes it down but if I try to do this more I get check-raised allot. The opponent could be playing me or their hand and then I aren't really sure what to do with a mediocre hand (or draw)

Also, if anyone has any general tips that might be good for a beginner, feel free to share I have looked/am looking through some of the treads that are linked in the sticky.

(P.S: Pretty new to Omaha as well in all honesty. Have played it for maybe 10K hands in ring games, so i'm not too great at that. Is AAxx AKJQ double suit def all in PF if u get the opporunity to shove?)

Edit: Thanks for any help in advance Feel free to give as little or as much answer/hints as u can be bothered to

Hey there, I'm a microstakes reg at OH8 HU SNGs on FT (not receiving Rakeback) and I was just wondering which sites would be better for me to play at. I've heard Stars charge less in HUSNGs is this true?

Many thanks,

Really? Besides the spades draw, it looks pretty dry to me. I thought that with a c/r I would fold a lot of hands that are way behind. The Jc turn seemed like a good card to lead out because it puts more draws out there, and probably hits villain's range well.

Is HEM or PT3 a must for HUSNG regs? I thought of purchasing HEM because I sometimes play 18m and tourneys on both Stars and FT, but would it be that helpful just for HUSNG's as well?

I emailed them about it when the whole rakebackpros thing was announced and was told that I was attached to some other non-rakeback affiliate.

Now that I'm playing again, I want to find a site that offers what I play and rakeback (or charges less). I'll email FullTilt again in hope of a better response. I generate them a decent amount of rake (earning 20-100 FTP points a day) and feel like I shouldn't be giving them my service if I'm not going to receive anything in return.

Yeah, they told me I was with an affiliate that I signed up with through a banner. I didn't as I had set my account up for play money. They won't tell me who my affiliate is for "privacy reasons" I later found out that some website probably put a cookie on my computer when I visited some random site.
