HUSNG.com is the place to be for heads up sit and go videos, articles, interviews, software, blogs and more. We've been around since early 2009 and now have over 800 poker videos, including over 30 free videos and over 400 videos available for only $25. You should find more HUSNG videos on our site than every other training site combined, and the quality of our videos should be significantly superior those found else ware as well. Our dedication to a single game, years of built up relationships with many top players and unique understanding of the game allows us to consistently bring you a very high level product.

We didn't over leverage before black friday, we worked with many non-USA poker communities, including pokeroff, gipsyteam, pokerman, pokergaming, mirpokera and more. We didn't cut back on videos post black friday either, we added videos from top players like H2Olga/Lotte Lenya, SkaiWalkurrr, Heybude and more. In December 2011, we released a 60+ page free ebook to the community. Entirely free. No sign up required, no email, no gimmicks (available in both download and read only).

Below we'll explain some of the features of the site in more detail.

Mersenneary's Free Heads Up Poker Ebook

This book is a collection of 27 articles, spanning 65 pages, written by Mersenneary, a highly regarded heads up sit and go end game specialist.

Here are what fellow 2p2ers have had to say about the book:

Reading it won't turn me into a great player. But I don't think that was the point.

Mathematically
The book has given me a lot of ideas about how to go about solving some of the common puzzles I see and also given me some new problems to think about.

Psychologically
It was interesting to see how you view other players. I can definitely see bits of myself in each of the examples you used. And I wholeheartedly agree with your view about poker, tilt and life.

Re criticism don't sweat it
There are people in life who get out there and do stuff and then there are the others who don't do all that much but they are pretty happy to criticize from the sidelines.

OBV if your the one getting criticized you are pretty much on the right track in life.

I've read the book and I did find it very informative and easy to read. It wasn't boring like most books I read I tend to just shy away after I'm 30% in but I managed to read the book fairly quickly and found the whole lot very interesting.

There was some interesting thoughts and it's good to get a personal perspective on your thought process and defiantly some things I found in the book will help me in the future. Some of it was so simple that I can't believe I didn't pick up on myself, and there was a point in the book which will stand out the most and it's where you said about a "a-ha" moment from your students, I found a "a-ha" moment numerous times, so I believe it will help my game in the near future.

Thanks again mers,

Brilliant work.

I dont know of any other book that put in the same place all the necessary concepts to know in heads up poker.
Thanks Mers.

Free Videos

You can find over 30 of our free videos on our free videos page. In addition, you can check out our youtube channel to find dozens more free video clips of our actual membership videos.

Here is a video from Mersenneary, targeted at lower stakes players (discussion thread here):

Here is an audio clip on youtube, where Mersenneary details his approach to super turbo bankroll management.

Below is a RyPac13 video about donk betting, titled leading the flop out of position (OOP) in a raised pot.

The video clip below shows premium instructor Heybude, joined by his brother Max "Runittrim," as they analyze a hand played between high stakes legends Jonathan "Iftarii" Jaffe and Olivier "Adonis112/Livb112" Busquet. Heybude and Runittrim did a 3 part series analyzing hands just like this, which can be found in our premium membership.

Below, Skates (psimalive) and Barewire (Krab42) introduce their videos series, moving from heads up cash to heads up sit and go. Barewire is a deep stack heads up cash player and is responsible for a great deal of the deep husng and hu cash content on HUSNG.com. Skates was a heads up sit and go, 6+ player hyper sng, cap cash and PLO player, widely respected and known for having a brilliant poker mind.

Here are a pair of hyper turbo leakfinders by JackTheShipper, a Belgian heads up player and videomaker (fastcolt on 2p2).

Cog Dissonance gives an introduction to super (hyper) turbo games in this video, aimed at lower stakes and newer players.

We've also made it even easier to figure out what to watch, both for new members and those looking for specific content. Our video planning guide is a work in progress, but should already be effective for low and mid stakes players.

We use paypal as our primary method of payment. Users have been able to, at times, get money onto paypal via many payment processor/ewallets.

I'm sending you a PM, please disregard any other PMs you get about the site.

If anybody needs information on anything like payment, membership or account status, please PM me directly, posting here asking somebody to PM you may result in users attempting to scam you and nobody wants that to happen. Thanks.

Got myself a premium membership a couple of weeks ago. Loving the videos Great site!
Currently looking through all of merc's vids. Really love the way he's teaching and he seems like an ultra cool guy (unless it's just a formal coaching persona (not that it matters anyway) )

Anyways, highly recommend it for everyone looking to improve their HU game. It's also ultra cool that you can just download videos to your computer at will. The investment is easily worth it.

Thumbs up!

The video below is listed under the free videos itt, but I can't seem to download it?

Which membership plan should I have in order to see the other videos in this series?

Hi ADT,

I guess the direct link doesn't work. You can find the video on this page (we'll release it on the main site soon, we just made it an initial exclusive for an affiliate site to send users to).

Cog's Super Turbo Video is on this page.

As for the super turbo question, basically the standard membership should give you plenty to start (the $25 option). Cog did a 5 part super turbo series, covering various buyin levels from $2 to $200. The first 4 videos of the series are available to standard members.

In addition to those 4 videos, Cog also has 2 other super turbo videos in the standard membership.

For the premium, Cog has 1 super turbo video, but a majority of Mersenneary's 20+ videos on the site use super turbo games to explain end game and shorter stack strategy. So there's quite a bit of quality content for premium members that are interested in super turbo application videos as well.

We do a monthly tournament where we add $100 to a prize pool (entry fee is usually $5 to keep out freerollers that will enter no buyin tournaments by the thousands).

We'll likely have one a week from this Saturday (or two weeks) and everybody here will know when it happens.

We're going to do the 40bb starting stacks again with 5 minute blind increase. It worked out to about 15 minutes per round max, which is a really good time for efficiency (and still plenty of room for skill).

I'll be looking at the home game feature to see if there's anything we can do with that. On first glance it looks a little overhyped to me, but I haven't thought much about it, so that view is pretty soft.
