Can you make any 2 work here or the bottom of the range comes down to how aggro your opponents are and your own abilities post flop?

I think this is an easy fold. i personally flat a bit tighter in these spots than i would if the sb just folded. I use to flat wider but noticed in my db i was getting killed with alot of hands i thought i could flat (mostly os variations prob can still flat every suited hand here). Would like to hear some other opinions as my db sample size is still quite small.

What makes you think you'll win 17% of the min-raised flop 3-way pot here with 42o?

2 live cards very likely and people dont cbet/barrel as much in 3 way pots as they do in HU pots. I wasnt saying "I think" it can be profitable, I was asking how wide could be profitable. Havent done any database research on this matter. 4 2 works better than J 2 as a defend, since higher probability of 2 livecards, right?

sounds like decent logic, although hitting just a 2 or 4 with 2 higher card flops will still mean you'll just have to fold a lot anyways. You can only really play back on low boards.

Although you're only 16bb deep, I feel like to call off 2bb to see a flop I'd rather be 20+bb deep.

vs two opponent you should actually defend tighter then only vs Btn, even pote odds are better. the reason for that is that sb flatting range is quiet strong, and you will be often in very uncomfortable position, which will effect that you will not be able to go to showdown often with value (which you do not have while playing bottom range), neither bluff out your opponent much.

vs only btn you can play wider as his range is capped to top 30-40% and they will be a couple of spots when he miss his range otf, T and R, and you still will be theoretically having something on the board which allow you to outplay him.

when good reg flat from sb you do not have this confort as he have often some portion of AA,KK in his range for example. as well any bet which you make in 6bb+ pote open better odds for Btn and then for sb, which effect that they will continue more often
