Across all stack depths, villain limped 5/8, minr 1/8. He folded to an iso shove once. Would you iso this hand?

SPR is 1 post-flop. Jam river, or are 9x and Tx calling too often?

What is the reason to iso pre?

I guess having an iso bluff range or not vs the population is whatever, so very small reads can make iso bluffing fine I guess. In this particular game I iso'd only once, and I believe villain limped for the third time in a row, so given this gameflow I figured I had enough fold equity.

That iso seems beyond horrible. The reasons for it also.

I tend not to ISO complete junk like 83o, but will semi-bluff jam weak suited hands and such. It really depends on villain though. If you can define their limping range to be too weak (too high VPIP, raising or open-shoving some strong hands pre, not trapping enough, etc.), which happens very regularly, then you can jam probably any two profitably. Most recs only trap big pocket pairs, which is not nearly enough to cover their weak limping range.

Against recs all my non-all-in ISO is value type hands that play well post-flop though. Occasionally there's the opponent that I have confident reads he will fold nearly always. Then I guess it makes more sense to check back value hands and non-AI some complete junk.

This particular villain seems to have a low VPIP and low PFR, so I definitely wouldn't bluff here, especially with this hand.

if you want to attack you can move the the top of your checking back range and move to the bottom of your iso range.

You can, but you probably shouldn't. Especially vs that villain.
