Hey there, I'm looking to play the WSOP Main Event for the first time, and I'd like your help.

What's the deal with Kevmath?

In case you're wondering, my name is Kevin Mathers, and I've been a long-time moderator here on 2+2 and also make frequent contributions via Twitter (@Kevmath). Many in the poker community appreciate my efforts to provide news and information to as many people as possible.

I'm also the poker information manager over at BluffMagazine.com, which means I get to enter tournament results, upload photos, and all that fun stuff that helps create the BLUFF Player of the Year and WSOP POY standings.

Do you actually play poker?

A fair question. In the past I've dabbled in poker, and if you look up my stats on PokerStars and FTP and it's not as good as one would like. However, I'm running on the right side of variance in live tournaments this year. I've played in seven tournaments that will be reported in the Hendon Mob database, and I've cashed in 3 of them:

Jan. 2012: Aussie Millions $550 NL Hold'em Terminator 6/224 - $6,223
March 2012: Foxwoods $230 Super Bounty 31/509 - $267
June 2012: $235 WSOP Daily Deepstack - 17/1305 - $1,822

So what are you looking for?

The plan is to sell as much action as I can at the following prices:

1-4%: 1.15 ($115 for 1%)
5%-? 1.10 ($110 for 1%)

I was able to sell plenty of action for WSOP Event 44 ($1,000 NL) at face value through Twitter. Although those results left a lot to be desired, am feeling confident that has been put behind me and give it another try at some WSOP glory.

Will accept PayPal (Kevmath@gmail.com), BOA transfer and cash in Vegas. I'll be returning on July 6th, with the goal of playing on Day 1C Monday, July 9.
