didnt get much going in my first event lost a big part of my stack in first hour flopping top set and having to muck on a check raised river where they had nut flush and second nut flush. lost all in 8 bb aj<22. getting ready to play shootout event in a hour gl us. the fields are big this year because of the new hotel and casino so the prizes are going to be big this following week.

Cashed for $325 in the shootout,really upset with getting that deep again and coming up short,will go over hand later today,going to work now and will be heading back on the 9th to play again.

with 27 players left in the money i busted about 3 hours in with a hand that upset me with my action but it was a super standard hand that not many people would fold but I almost did. starting stack was 10k i had 9k and was in the sb at the 150/300 level. I'm in 1 seat ,seat 6 raises 900 seat 7 calls i call bb calls, I have A10DD,flop comes 10 7 3cch I check bb checks seat6 checks seat 7 checks Turn card 10S I open 1700 bb calls seat 6 makes it raises 4.5k more seat 7 folds ,I tank for over 4 to 5 minutes going over every hand he has played in my head over and over again and I have have a sick feeling he has 77 and checked the flop. In that 4 minutes i was gonna and wanting to muck it the whole time but finally got it all in hoping he had k10,he had 77 for boat and end of story.still plenty of more chances to win big .

i got like 20th or 21st not 27th it was the min cash
