Hold your horses! I skipped the 2k NHLE event cause I was still in the main and felt a little down obviously after busting so didnt want to super latereg the event with only a 12k starting stack? The 2k 8max side is the day after tomorrow so I wont be missing it. Its one of the events im looking forward to. Ive missed 2 events, 1 because I was playing the main and didnt want to play a shorter stack. The 1k today cause I didnt know it clashes with the Barcelona match and thats a must see when your in Barcelona for the first time.

Busted the 2k 8 max last night with like 20 from the money... Field was super nice and juicy and I was in the zone. Lost a lot of chips with a bluffcatcher in a v good spot to bluffcatch and then just got shorter and jammed in my last 7 BBs from MP with A5s and couldnt beat SBs AQs. Will do numbers when I get back tomorrow, some refunds coming back and will post an overall summarizing post.

First of all the trip was amazing, I enjoyed every minute of it. Met some cool new people and got to see a lot of Barcelona. Pokerwize the trip went well, if you look at how I felt I played for the 3 tournaments I did end up playing. Results obviously aren't the same, but it's 3 tournaments so what are you going to do. The EPT main event bustout hand is a tough one to get around and a very interesting turn spot. It's so tough when he leads the the turn, cause I still cannot really find a bluff range for anyone in a spot like that. So maybe without more reads apart from the fact I thought he was a solid vilain, I should just call and reevaluate the river or maybe even just fold. I'm obviously folding the topish part of my range, cause I will have flushdraws, hands like AK,AQ that I'm barreling to fold him off smaller pairs. After thinking about this hand for a few days now I've come to like flatting pre more, because it's a lower varience strategy and we are so deep and it's such a soft field and table.

Apart from that one hand everything seemed to be going my way and not having to put my chips at risk even once, it was just so easy.

2k 8 max was also very very soft and good. I didn't actually expect it to be such a nice tournament. Overall I'm very happy how things went and obviously dissapointed I couldn't give you guys a proper sweat, but I sure will next time around.
