busted the first package'd VDE event. played fairly well and ran it up to about 48k going into lvl 11 or 12? (the one after the dinner break). Then lost couple of pots in the first round with ATcc (i 3b pre and got cold 4b) and AJo (open from co, bb calls, flop 9QK, turn 9, i gave up).

Then I was down to about 18bb at 800/1600/200, picked up AJhh utg and open shipped. got called by KK. flop 2h4d9h, turn 3d, river brick...

After the hand i was down to 2.2x bb and posted the bb. hj open, btn called, i went all in with 68o with one heart. flop Qx9 two hearts, turn 7h, river brick. hj shows A high and btn shows 78. I was out.

busted the $600 (2nd VDE event) in like lvl 14? we were 35 away from money. I was down to like 11-12bb at 1200/2400/300 and blinds were going up the very next hand. I also have been super card dead and have been just folding in the past hour or so. So I decided to make a move with A4hh utg (8 handed) given the blind increase and my good table image. Folded to bb who called with AJ and that was it.

but did you go to the fashion show shopping mall and bath and body first?

okay so it's unfortunate that the package 1 is a no go but 3 is a go. So I've been playing the package 3 scheduled events. Will do the math on the refund for package 1 later.

I wasn't able to play the 6/6 $400 VDE nlhe event cuz my friend really needed me to take her to the airport so I'll try to pick another $400 event to make up for that absence. If not, that goes to the refund too.

As for today's $600 plo event. It was fun. we started the event with 600 BB deep lol. 15k at 25/25. There was one guy who was just straight up obnoxious and acting really disrespectful the whole time. Kept doing the blind potting utg or telling ppl to do it or saying things like "i play online.. i don't care about live poker..." or "this is a rebuy tournament...i like to give action..." which he did give a lot of action and wouldn't mind 4b/5b with weak holdings.

So one hand I had KK33ss, it was utg blind potting and utg1 blind repotting. I was the 2nd to act and I potted it like 1025 or something like that. That obnoxious kid repotted to 3xxx with like 3 or 4k behind. I decided to get it in vs him cuz obv he's just there to gamble. We got it in pre and he turned over Ad6d7dTs. Flop AA9....so I lost 1/2 of my stack.

Then he got bust fairly quickly (standard and he deserved it), table became much normal and I grinded my stack back to 17k until this bust-out hand happened.

It was at 50/100, utg (pretty loose guy too) made it 300, one called, I called with QhJcTh3c, sb repotted to 1500, utg called, guy called, I called to close the action. Flop was 6s8c9h. sb checks, utg bets 5k, guy next to me ships for 12-13k total, I realized that my equity is fairly good there with my wrap and two back door fd so I reshipped for 16.5k. UTG sigh called and 3 way all in.

UTG turned over Ad3d8x9x
guy turned over J89x (don't remember what the 4th card was)

both were only top two my and hand was 45% equity to win that pot...unfortunately both turn and river bricked....so that was it.

Now at 100k+ at dinner break in the VDE $600. 15 paid, think we have less than 50 left. It's like my 4th dinner break in VDE...need to run better after the dinner.

okay...got busted 7 places away from ITM, this was unreal. Had KK aipf vs 99 and board ran out 23546 for a chop...then I ran my starting stack up to 100kish at dinner break. Came back, got moved to new table (40 left now...18 paid). KJdd on AsJh2d9dKs board where I check back flop, called turn bet, vbet 50% on the river and got called by AJ. 80k at the end of the hand. few ppl got busted and we broke the table.

At the new table I was dealt KK...got two callers in the blinds. Flop AsAd7h, checked around. turn 8d, sb bet, bb called, I called ip. river 6d, sb bet, bb called, I fold. sb turned over 9T and bb turned over 77 for 7s full.

Then I got dealt 88 vs sb's slowed played KK on Q6679 board where we went check/check flop, I called his turn bet, and checked the river. at this point I was down to 60k at 1200/2400/300.

couple of hands later, the guy opened co, i 3b ATo from bb, he snap shove and I called off my 60k ish stack. He showed A6o and board ran out 2JJQQ for another chop....

Then lost another all in with 22 vs short stack's TT...

Then we were down to 25 ppl at 1500/3000/400. the A6o opened min co, folds to me in bb, I shipped 35k with A4o, he called with KQo. flop QQx....

really really brutal day...I dunno what to say...
