Thanks for your input ezgamez; and yeah I had a big month between sportsbetting/live home games in December and if i'd known i'd have a big month I probably would have kept an extra few percent each of the main and prelims, but i'm perfectly happy with the existing share I have in both (34 main, 52 prelims atm).

When someone cancelled last minute I figured it would be fine to take the extra 2% myself as the waitlist is never guaranteed action as far as I know. I did give a few shares to the waitlist but I don't think there should be any obligation to complete the full waitlist prior to taking extra action myself if people cancel. As far as I know the only obligation should be to offer shares to the waitlist in the order they were reserved which I did up to the point where I wanted the remaining action myself. Would be interested in hearing what other people think.

I wouldn't ever buy back action that had been booked and paid for as I think that's poor form unless an investor actually wanted to sell shares back to me. Even if I win the opening event for 200k+ obviously i'd want more of myself, but I think buying back action once a package has been sold out/funds collected is wrong.

As Ezgamez said, some investor might think that the 6max or 8game or some event later in the package specifically is a huge edge spot but the rest of the package is only breakeven, and if I play part of the package then buy the rest back prior to that event it's putting the investor out as they may not have chosen to invest in the package without that event. In his case he said himself that he mostly just wants main action (which actually worked out well as I usually bundle the main with prelims but sold separately for it this year, and several investors only wanted prelims or main action, or wanted more of one than the other)

I have a feeling if I ranked the entire Aussie Millions schedule in order from biggest edge to smallest edge in each tournament my list would look completely different to anyone who hasn't played most of the events multiple times. For example I actually think that my ROI is higher in the 8 Game and HORSE tournaments during the early prelims than it would be in the $1150 NLHE Shootout, because inexplicably the shootout is a regfest almost every year and the mixed games are softer than an equivalent $300 mixed games tournament in Vegas. One of the advantages about the series being played at my 'home' poker room is that I recognise over half of the recreational players and all of the Australian regs and I can generally assume that anyone from outside Australia is probably a reg (plus i've played with a lot of the regs at the WSOP etc over the years) so it's fairly easy to determine field strength in any given event just by who is in the line to register. That's one of the reasons I made one of the bullets a generic '$1150 NLHE event' as I will be able to field select a good spot in the room for it between the various possibilities.

We have 1x extra $1150 bullet remember and I will confirm on twitter and/or in thread what it's being used on when the time comes - i'll only use it on a reentry if I bust something soft super early and the stacks are still about 100bb, otherwise it'll be an additional event added on to the package. We could also use it on the nightly $130+100r/$250 main event satellites and pay out cash if we win a 10.6k main seat (i'll reduce MU slightly if this is a popular idea and we want to do that) - I know from previous years the $130+100rs are amazing, people play like ******s during the rebuy period so you can abc tag and then take the addon which is a pile of extra chips to max EV. Not sure about the $250 midnight mega ones they didn't have them last year. Anyway I assume you all trust i'll use my best judgement picking the best spot/s available.

Made day 2 of opener on 2nd bullet w 108k from 10k start avg is about 60-65k. Bricked horse and bullet 1 of opener. Day 2 of opener in 6h 2xx players left about 150 paid 320k aud uptop

Pretty gross built up 67 start stacks in opener then ran tt into a9 and 99 into aq aipf and lost both with 20something left of 1565 cashed for 5775 I believe it was put updates on Twitter etc. First cash of the package, plo today gl us

I might fire one of accumulator or bounty events 1150 and 1650 at 1.2 and give everyone the auto roll-over if no objections if you want out just post itt or tweet at me.
