Hi, i'm Oliver Gill Gaber, aka Talerric on Pokerstars and SwoopAE on Full Tilt and I'm looking to sell around 40-50% of an APPT-Melbourne package of five prelims plus the Main Event. The main event will be full of aussie live fish and satellite qualifiers and should get a field between 200-400, so there should be significant value despite the buy-in. Obviously the prelim events have a smaller buyin, and should be amazing value for a player who beats upper midstakes MTTs online.

The first event is on 26 August 2012 and the final table of the Main Event concludes on 3 September. All shares will need to be paid for at least 24hrs before the first event begins for you to have action.

Full disclosure, i've sold about 20% privately, and expect to have around 30% of the action myself and guarantee some of my own money will be invested for investors peace of mind.

I will be posting updates on twitter at http://twitter.com/swoopae for as long as my phone battery holds up during each event. Pokernews should also be covering the main and i'm friends with two of their reporters, so a decent amount of my hands should get coverage.

My Resume

Over 200k total net winnings online. Talerric on Pokerstars, SwoopAE on Full Tilt and UB and Party, Mutaharass on 888 and Ongame

+125k on FTP, +75k stars, +20k or so across the other sites combined (although the UB winnings are from 06/07 so not sure if they're tracked)

Live results include 3 Aussie Millions prelim final tables (1100 PLO and HORSE in 2010 and 1100 8Game in 2011 (4th, 5th and 5th respectively), 18th in the $1500 PLO at the WSOP, winning a $350 NLHE teams event and assorted final tables in live tournaments in Australia. I've played four 10k events (WSOPME '11, AM ME '08 '10 '12) with two semi-deep runs in the AM Main both resulting in me finishing just off the bubble.

Some but not all of my live cashes are listed at the Hendon Mob under two pages due to my confusing two word surname.

The Events

26 Aug - Event 2, $200 NLHE
27 Aug - Event 3, $350 8 Game

40% available for now, although I may open up another 10% later.

$7000 AUD @ 1.2 is $8400 so $84 AUD per 1%, which is 88.83 USD currently, although i'd prefer to wait a week or so to lock in the exchange rate until i'm actually collecting funds to minimise exchange rate variance for everyone involved. I'll announce ITT when i've sold enough action and i'm ready to collect funds and lock in the exchange rate.

In the event that i'm too tired to play Event 8 after playing the main, I will inform everyone ITT and on twitter and substitute the event for Event 9 $550 NLHE (if I am not still in the Main Event) the following day, or the funds plus markup will be refunded if i'm still in the Main Event.

There are no taxes on poker winnings in Australia and all cashes and/or refunds will be paid in full upon completion of the package.

How to buy shares

I figured i'd include a few of the high value prelim events in a package to lower variance for investors. If you only want action for the main, that's fine, although i'm not accepting prelim action only reserves.

At this stage i'm collecting reserves, assuming I sell another 30% or so i'll lock in that i'm definitely playing and start collecting funds at that stage. Please do not transfer me any money at this stage. Post you reserve in thread and i'll confirm it.

Cash in Melbourne is preferred for anyone who will be there live and Stars transfers is preferred for anyone transferring online, although i'm willing to accept Moneybookers, Bank Wire and Paypal as well if you pay the vig. Same deal with any cashes, you can collect the money in person, receive a bank wire either from me or I can send on Stars or whatever other method you prefer, although if it involves currency exchange fees (paypal etc) the fees will come out of your end.

Bump, still looking to sell another 25% or so. Would live to confirm whether i'm playing the main and going ahead with the package over the next week or so as if i'm not I don't really need to sell any action.

Going to make a decision by the 20th on whether i'm moving ahead with the package. Will need to sell another 20% or so to play, otherwise i'll end up cancelling the package, skipping the main and just playing the prelim events on my own dollar probably. If I sell another 20% or so, i'll confirm that i'm playing and begin collecting funds after that date.

Sold a few more % off forum, giving it one more bump.

Willing to offer some Main Only shares at 1.15 if anyone is interested in taking 5% or more of the main only, although 1.2 is as low as i'll be going for full package due to the prelims being higher ROI events.

So that's $287.50 AUD for a 5% block in the main if anyone's interested. I'll be making a decision on whether i'm playing the main on the 20th and locking the exchange rate then.

For the full package for $840 AUD or main only for $575 Hixx? Please specify, your 10% is reserved in either case. I'm assuming you want 10% of the full package unless you specify otherwise.

I can confirm that i'll be going ahead with the package.

10% more for sale total at this stage (i'd like to sell another 10% definitely as i've sold 59.5% *in reserves* at the moment including off-forum action and want to sell about 70 and theres always a chance some reserves will pull out including one guy who wasn't sure if he wanted 15 or 20 and I have him down as 20) then i'll waitlist a further 10% incase anyone pulls out or doesn't pay for their shares in time.

Is anyone in thread intending to pay via any method other than Pokerstars or cash in Melbourne? Please let me know asap so we can make arrangements.

I'm happy to receive on Moneybookers/Skrill or Paypal or Bank Wire as well, so long as the investor covers any fees to get the money to/from you if you're using any method other than pokerstars or cash. If you'd like to receive any winnings via a different method to what you use to pay for your shares as well please let me know when you pay.

At this stage i've sold enough to play (although barely) and there's still up to 10% available of the Main, although i'm sold out for the prelims.

Willing to do 1.1 if anyone wants to buy the last 10% of the Main Event Only, i'm pretty happy with the amount sold for the prelims already.

I do have a guy who will buy the last 10% at face value if I decide I need to sell it, but i'll probably just keep it if I can't at least get 1.1 for the last 10%.

Actually i'm just going to lock in the exchange rate now and start collecting the funds. I'll send a round of PMs. I am willing to sell up to another 10% of the Main Only as stated in the previous post, but i'm sold out of prelim/full package action for now.

According to xe.com, the exchange rate is as follows

1.00 AUD = 1.04230 USD

Which makes 1% at 84 AUD = 87.55 USD

Event #2 is a $200 with a $100 add-on, you've just listed it as a $200 FO in the OP (I'm playing a few of the events too)

We'll budget for 1 re-entry and 1 addon, so an additional $300 AUD. If I rebuy beyond that, i'll dilute everyone's shares accordingly (it'll be by 0.1% or whatever), but you maintain your shares. If the table isn't particularly soft, i'll call it if I bust our buyin and reentry.

REVISED SHARE PRICE IS $91.30 USD

Just to confirm, thanks to an oversight on event 2 being reentry with an addon, this is no longer accurate and the accurate share price is $91.30 USD per 1%. Sorry for any confusion, i'm hoping this won't bother anyone too much as it's less than $4 difference in the share price, if you'd like to revise your share % you're welcome to in light of this error, otherwise I will assume everyone is maintaining their reserved share %.

Couple updates; Chiefke decided to change his shares to Main Only so he now has 4.1% of the main instead, LiveForever dropped his share to 10% and Walchy has purchased a 5% share.

I will take the last 5.8% of the main as well if it is available

Received from Hixx for his original shares, not yet for the additional 5.8% of main only.

@Hixx the last 5.8% is yours if you want it, reserved, and will be booked when you ship the 319AUD which is $332.39 USD and action is closed for now, i'm willing to waitlist if anyone wants a piece as i'll be giving everyone a few days to pay for their reserved shares but not everyone has paid yet.
