Yeah. I am brutally honest in my play and where I make mistakes. First i was up most of the night beating the **** out of myself analyzing what i did here. I analyzed it back and forth with golfpro via texts because I felt like I owed it to him for his stake.
My table was wildly aggressive. 3 out of 4 hands had up to 4 bets per flop. Blinds were 5 k ante and 15 k-30k blinds. Utg raised to 60k (raises were always 2x exactly). I was utg+2. I flatted. The cutoff was a super shorty. About 225k. He seriously looked like he was going to ship it soon. I was hoping to induce a shove there and see what original raiser either flatted the shorty and then. Could rejam. Alas, the shorty thought for a minute and mucked. Bb came along for the ride.
Flop was 9-10-j. Original raiser made it 120k. I raised to 520k. BB folds. Original raiser jams for 1.1m more. Even the wsop mentions that I tanked. I was getting well over 2 to 1 on a call. If he had Qq or kk he would have played it the same way. I called. He turned over Jj. Turn was a q to give me more outs. But a 3 on the river ended it.
He is not laying jacks down pre flop. Unless I shipped it but I would never have done that. If I did 3 bet, maybe he would have just called. Then maybe I could have given the hand up since he would have check raised me on the flop. I don't now.
Interestingly, if he did have Qq or kk he would have won also.
From a pay perspective, I could have gone to bed at dinner break and made an extra 50k minimum. Lol
