I have to agree there is a difference between reserving action and actually paying before the tourney starts..

I was under the impression he might have shipped too late or had an issue shipping, my apologies, shytty situation nonetheless. Guess I have to agree it's different with randoms, I just saw "you both get 1%" and figured TDs word was good (thought maybe they knew each other) and he was booked. I'm sure CDs decisions is respectable, apologies again for my confusion.

I don't know thedylan at all and like Zima said, when dealing with randoms I'm more careful. If Chazz didn't contact me and give me cash he would not have had a piece. I tried to contact dylan and he simply didn't respond to this thread, nor did he PM me back/attempt to get my BoA info.

It does suck and I feel bad for him since 1% was such a huge amount after my score. I'll make sure I give him a piece of me at no markup in some upcoming live tournament or whatever. There's no dispute in my mind that this was NOT booked though. I had all my pieces written down on a spreadsheet and he was not included. I don't like getting freerolled, and had I busted without cashing I would have not accepted the money.

By the time he asked if he had 1% I was already in the money of the tournament.

If you do not know someone personally, $ must be received before % booked. Only way to insure fairness to both sides.

Nice score OP, hope the Soaring Eagle does a better job running HPT then they do in general.

Used to play there a lot, and still visit some friends in Midland cpl times a year and end up there, and it's painful to put up with a lot of the dealers and floor staff there

CD i actually pm'd you twice and got no response, i spoke with schu about it also wondering what was going on and what was happening - figured you were at the poker room with not much access to 2p2. obviously its ultimately your call and your money but i had every intention of paying you but got no response after i sent my pm's which were shortly after i saw that you booked me for 1%

U deserve that 1% fwiw ....op acts like the money for the 1% was huge

also fwiw to those saying that no cash in hand = not booked, there have been many instances of the player fronting the money because of short notice or w/e the issue may have been. i don't know brandon personally but i'd like to think i'm somewhat known and have a good rep in the mp having bought and sold action before. already seems like he's made up his mind, but maybe he'll reconsider.
