Session 1 of 10 Day Challenge

I decided to switch things up and I headed south to Toledo, Ohio where I sat at a $1/$2 NLHE game inside Hollywood Casino.

This proved to be a good move as I was able to pull off the following "Prison Rapes."

The "Prison Rape" is when you are able to win 100bb or more off of just one pair against a recreational player.

Prison Rape #1

Hero is in SB with AA, 6 limpers, I jack it up to $20.

A limp in/call any raise/call stationy/spewy guy in MP calls.

Flop is 10/9/7.

I bet $45. He calls.

Turn is an 8. I put him in for his last $140. He calls.

He shows A/10 offsuit and my AA wins the pot.

I figured him for 10J, 10Q, 10K, or 10A or something like A/8, A/9, A/7.

He also definitely could have had 89s, 810s, of 78s...but I am never check/folding the AA in that spot to him.

Prison Rape #2

Villain was another rec player, but on the more spewy/make bluffs that make no sense side as you'll see here at the end of the hand.

I am in the Co with QJs.

There's been 4 limps so I jack it to $17 to go.

Villain calls from BB, another villain calls from MP.

$51 in pot.

Flop is Q/J/6 rainbow.

Checks to me and I bet $40.

Both call.

Turn is a beautiful deuce.

Both check to me, I bet $100.00

Villain who was in the BB calls.

River is a Jack, giving me a full house.

Villain in BB shoves $125.

I call. Villain shows A/K offsuit. LAWLZ

Ship it.

I finished up $630.00 for this session.

Session 2 of 10 Day Challenge

Take my seat at the $1/$2 NLHE table and over the course of the first 3 hours I am down $120 from set mining.

Over the course of the next four hours I am able to grind my way back with raising solid hands, hitting the flop, cbetting and extracting value.

Finally, I get into a big hand with the table aggro....

I open JJ from UTG for $17. 2 callers.

Flop is Js 10s 4d.

I lead $25. First caller folds. Aggro OTB calls.

Pot now $90.

Turn is a 2h. I check.

Aggro bets $75. I call.

River fills me with another brick 4, I check..

Aggro goes all in for $125.

I call. He mucks.

I finished up $240 for the night.

Session 3 of 10 Day Challenge

As usual, I start off the session $150 down.

I am SB with AJo and there's a $4 straddle. 4 limpers by the time it gets to me.

I make it $20 to go. Folds around to rec villain OTB.

$55 in the pot.

Flop is J 2 4 rainbow.

I bet $35. He calls.

Turn is a 3 completing the rainbow. Villain has $95 left.

I go for value from all Jxs or stubborn A/2s, A/4s.

I ship all in.

Villain snap calls and shows 5/6 offsuit for a turned gutshot.

Owned.

After that, I am card dead for the next few hours.

Eventually, a black guy who only plays every so often sits down in the exact same seat villain from above was sitting in.

Then I find myself in the same situation, but with KK.

4 limpers to me, I raise it to $25 this time and get one caller.

It's this black guy who I have heard talk poker at the table before and he's said, "When I come to play poker, I don't care about what people are trying to tell me they got, I care about the two cards in my own hand and I play accordingly if I think someone's bluffing. If I think I got the hand won for sure, then I bet big."

So, as I've watched this guy..he is a COMPLETE station when he has top pair... when he has 2pair+ he turns into a massive over-betting ape.

So, when there's $70 in the pot, the flop comes...

Q 9 5 rainbow

and I bet $50, then get tank called....

I now know it's time to "Prison Rape" this villain.

Turn is a 6.

$170 in pot OTT. I bet $100. He tank calls again.

River is a meaningless 2.

I ship in $150 more. He calls with what he says was AQ.

I believe it was more like Q10 or QJ.

So, I am back to even and later I spot one of my favorite villains to play against sitting at another table. When I saw the seat to the direct left of him open up, I table changed.

I was able to "Prison Rape" that villain for his $200 stack two times within the course of two hours.

One hand I had AQ on a Q 4 4 flop and the guy called off his entire stack calling me down with 1010.

The other hand I had raised with K/Q and the flop came Q 9 6 and I believe the guy called off his whole stack on every street with Qx or 9x.

I finished up $403.00 for this session.

Session 4 of 10 Day Challenge

Really boring session as far as action goes.

Going to post two hands where I may have missed out on some value...

1.

I am in the BB with QhJh and UTG guys does a pot sweetener raise to $7.

By the time it gets to me 6 people have called, so I call.

$49 in the pot.

Flop is 9h8h2h

I check, it checks through all the way to last guy and he makes it $25.

I flat, another guy flats.

Turn is a 6c.

I check, it CHECKS all the way through.

River is a K diamonds.

I believe that may have hit one of these two guys hands so I lead $90.

One villain snap calls off his last $75, the other villain who raised flop folds.

Villain who called showed KhQs.

2.

I have KK UTG, it's late at night, stacks are deep all around the table, and there's two drunk aggros near the button.

So, I decide to do a $10 pot sweetener type raise.

I even say, "Lets sweeten the pot"...........

With hopes a drunk aggro will 3bet and I can flat his raise/get him to barrel off his stack.

Anyway, that pipe dream gets butt ****ed and it goes six ways to the flop.

Luckily it comes down K 2 3 rainbow.

I lead $20 into the $60 pot asking to be raised again.

No one bites, but two call.

So now $100 in the pot.

Turn is a 5 completing the rainbow.

I try one more time and lead $20.

I am called in both spots.

River is another 3.

So, I spazz ship $300 hoping that one of the dolts that were calling the $20 raises have a 3 or a straight.

Both fold.

Those are the only two big pots I won over the course of a 6 hour session.

I finished up $140 for the day.
