Played well this tournament.

Getting better and more confident at grinding 10bb to 20bb stacks so I am opening up my game and bluffing/double n triple barreling a lil more.

We never got over 35k all tourney.

Crippling came at 500/1000.

Folds around to hero in HJ with 22k. We raise to 2500. Backpacker with a hipster beard shoves 17k.

We held Ah5h.

Thought a while before a callled.

Deciding factor was he looked kinda creepy hipsterish.

Like a dude into some sort of foot fetish or reverse humiliation ****.

He just seemed like a young black male selling cigs on a street corner.

Up to something.

I called. He rolled Q8.

Binked an 8 on turn.

Goodnight sweet prince.....

Hey guys, just checking in...

I've had "Eat, Sleep, Break The Streak" going in the Poker Goals + Challenges forum for a couple weeks now and will soon be getting back in gear to play some tournaments.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...treak-1493365/

Current targets are some events that will be running at Hollywood Toledo, Palm Beach Kennel Club's WSOPc, and The Chicago Poker Classic.

So, we'll get back to building up "The People's Bankroll" for the 2015 WSOP real soon.

Lotgrinder, are the funds from the "People's Bankroll" being used in "Eat, Sleep, Break The Streak"? I just wanted to see where and if our funds are being used. Thanks

No, that's 100% separate PG+C thread.

But, "The People's Bankroll" is going to be used this week for this tournament series.

http://www.hollywood*******en.com/S3...0Regional%20S3

Looking to play Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

I'm also going to use it for any $2/$5 NLHE session I play this week.

Also, if "The People's Bankroll" gets low I will grind $1/$2 NLHE to bring it back to a healthy level.

It's not going to all be used on tournaments.

"The People's Bankroll" is currently at $4,725.

Which means each 1% share is worth $47.25.

Sorry, I haven't been updating this thread lately.

I'll buy any shares back at $60.00 a piece price before I play these tournaments.

I haven't been able to travel as much as I like lately. But, I will be able to more soon. I am on a 8.5k upswing at $2/$5 cash and I am hoping to transfer that success over to this thread as soon as possible. I owe all you guys for investing in me and I don't intend to disappoint.

If you are invested in me and feel that offer isn't fair or slighted in any way please post.

Now that I've finally conquered $2/$5 and am averaging $45+ a hour over my last 500 I truly intend to play more donkaments so I can force the donkament world to take notice and all you bastards who invested in me can have your day.

I actually plan to make some one off threads soon for bigger events ($1000+) as well.

So, I want an A+ reputation in the staking community for providing fun, being fair, and paying back stakes as promised as soon as funds are requested.

Eat, Sleep, Break The Streak: Tournament Edition

Tournament #1

Alright boys n girls, lets get this live multi-table tournament party started back up again.

The first round is on me.

Today you'll all be freerolling in Hollywood Toledo's $235 Deepstack and some live $1/$2 NLHE action before the event kicks off.

Don't want any "Controversy" in this thread unless it's the Prince track from the 80's our parents snorted a lot of cocaine to....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0pewqF8POE

Yes, it's true.

Your bull has been running wild in his separate PG+C thread and is currently up 8.5 over his last 13 sessions.

You can follow my latest cash game journey here.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...treak-1493365/

Anyway, I think I promised you all at least 4 cash game sessions a month on "The People's Bankroll" and that sort of fell by the wayside as I've been playing 100% $2/$5 NLHE and some of you had expressed concerns in the past about me playing at that level on your dime. I also haven't traveled to play any tournaments. So, I've had no chance to combine my $1/$2 NLHE action with tournament play and fulfill my promise.

So, why we figure out a fair deal and how to make everyone happy you'll all be freerolling in the tournaments I plan to play today and Thursday.

We'll have this issue resolved by Friday and action in this thread will start picking up because I plan to play these events in Toledo and in the upcoming Chicago Poker Classic.

Thanks to all for being patient and hopefully 2015 is the year I can piece us off our first big score.

Now it's time to $hit, shower, shave, and leave Grandma Marge's because we stayed here last night so we could watch "Better Call Saul" with her.

Stay tuned for tournament updates.

Forgot to note, played 3 hours of $1/$2 NLHE that day and lost $80.00. (That was a freeroll as well.)

Will also post proof of the tournament $235 tournament entry tomorrow.

Did not play any other events as the fields were rather small and you'll all get way more value on the upcoming Chicago Poker Classic freerolls I plan on giving.

Finally, going to play a freeroll cash game session right now and my offer to buy anyone's shares out at $60.00 a share still stands.

Just send me your pp, chase qp, or your email address as I can send funds directly to your email via www.giftrocket.com.

Thanks.

I ended up winning $580 on 2-15-2015.

"The People's Bankroll" is currently at $5,305. ($53.05 a share.)

I'd like to open up an offering of $75 a share in order to buy some pieces of myself back if anyone is looking to sell.

Please pm me or post here if you'd like to sell off any of your T.P.B stock and I'll send you funds immediately.

If you'd like an additional piece of me in The Chicago Poker classic please take a moment to check out this thread.

Chicago Poker Classic Schedule

Event #1 $360 Buy-In

Two complimentary freeroll bullets will be fired.

(Plan on playing Friday+Saturday.)

Event #8 $2000 Buy-In

$1000 from "The People's Bankroll" will be used on this event.

The additional $1000 will be supplied from the stakers listed in my seperate Chicago Poker Classic thread that I opened up for new one time investors.

***Notes***

The new investors from the other thread have a collective 10% piece of me in the freerolls I am giving out of the 65.4% I own of myself.

If I win any type of Main Event seats or WSOP Main Event seats or any sort of seat at all off any of these entries you're all included/along for the ride.

I may choose to take $360.00 and fire a third bullet at event #1 if I feel as though it's worth it.

Thanks guys.

Netted us a $520 min cash in one of the $360 Chicago Poker Classic Event #1 freerolls.

"The People's Bankroll" is currently at $5,825. ($58.25 a share.)

I will buy shares of myself back at a value of $80.00 a share if any of you want to sell.

I will not sell shares of myself at any price at this time.

If you want to buy a share you can make an offer to another investor who owns a % piece of me who may or may not want to sell off.

For a share transfer both the buyer and seller of the % piece of me must im me on here to make the transfer official.

Will be looking to play a cash game session on the "People's Bankroll" soon.

Tied up these next few days studying for the CPC Main Event.

As you all saw we bricked the Chicago Poker Classic Main Event.

We had $1,000.00 of "The People's Bankroll" in play.

"The People's Bankroll" is currently at $4,825. ($48.25 a share.)

I will buy shares of myself back at a value of $70.00 a share if any of you want to sell.

I will not sell shares of myself at any price at this time.

If you want to buy a share you can make an offer to another investor who owns a % piece of me who may or may not want to sell off.

For a share transfer both the buyer and seller of the % piece of me must im me on here to make the transfer official.

I will be playing the first of two $2/$5 cash game sessions (to take place in last ten days of March) on the bankroll today at Motor City Casino Detroit.

In April I will announce upcoming tournament schedule, plans for the World Series of Poker, and a set in stone cash game schedule to be played on the roll.

Don't worry, all of you who have been patient are going to be rewarded.

I fully plan to run this bankroll up to 15k+ and take shots at as many WSOP events as possible that I feel are in my wheelhouse. I'm going to be taking my writing to the next level as well. All the blogs/etc will be right here. Even considering a road trip again. Lots the bull has been thinking about. Grandma Marge even said "Don't you come visit me again until you have a 10k+ tournament score under your belt. Stop letting all those backpacking toolbags beat you."

So even Grandma said knock these scarf wearing fgts out.

Going to the gym to gets some reps in on some 3betting, 4betting, intense stare downing, double, and triple barreling.

If anyone knows a "Run Good" coach let me know. I gotta get better at that.

I'll be back. Stay tuned.

***Note: One more $300-$360 freeroll remains for you guys as well. (The CPC Main Event investment crew gets 20% of the 65.4% I hold of myself in this last one.)***

****ty day.

Sat way too long at a table full of nits, tags, and $hit regs on $200-$300 stacks.

Didn't table change because the other two tables line ups weren't any better.

Didn't win a hand of signifigance.

Value owned myself with AK on a Ad 10d 4c board betting pot on all three streets in a raised pot against a nits perceived AQ or AJ. Of course he rolls 1010 on me and says, "Wow. I thought you might have had aces there."

Final board A 10 4 4 9. (Flush missed)

Also ran our QQ into KK against a **** regs $280 stack at one point.

Finished down $700.

Still working on the promo I am going to cut.

But, let it be known "The People's Champ" scored a 1.7k win for "The People's Bankroll" last night.

I recorded every single hand we played in the 6 hour $2/$5 session with details.

We will be doing this for every session played on "The People's Bankroll" moving forward.

"The People's Bankroll" is currently at $5,925. ($59.25 a share.)

Will be playing a session tonight at MGM Detroit Casino's Poker Room.

I plan on playing $2/$5 NLHE.

But, if the line up is NIT/shortstacker infested I'll probably just play the $1/$2 game where you can buy in for $300 that's usually more full of easy spots/degens/weekend warrior type players.

Looking at WSOPc in North Carolina in two weeks.

The People's Bankroll Update:

Job:

In professional wrestling slang, the term job describes a losing performance in a wrestling match. It is derived from the euphemism "doing one's job." When a wrestler is booked to lose a match it is described as "a job." The act itself is described with the verb jobbing, while the act of booking (rather than being booked) to job is called jobbing out. Wrestlers who routinely lose matches are known as jobbers.

Jobber:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=jobber

Oh it's true.

It's damn true.

"The People's Champ" has been on jobber status for some time now when it comes to tournaments.

I've played in a few WSOP events, around twenty WSOPcs, five Venetian Deepstacks, one Heartland, and a couple smaller $300-$550 events at local casinos in my tournament poker career and have came away with the following results.

http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=93199

If it wasn't for me mixing in some of my cash game action with all my staking packages your hero would have jobbed away every last dollar of "The People's Bankroll" on tournament losses.

Thankfully, you've all been patient and despite my numerous attempts to buy back pieces of myself none of you have decided to sell your shares. This must be because you still believe the bull will eventually run wild and now's the time where your're going to be punished or rewarded for your faith.

I'd like to announce that moving forward I will be playing at least one $2/$5 NLHE session a week on "The People's Bankroll."

I'll also be taking shots at as many $330-$1650 events as possible without letting "The People's Bankroll" get under $2,000.

If the roll gets at or near $2,000 I'll declare a state of emergency and grind out as much $1/$2 NLHE as I need to get it back up to $3,000 or all the way down to busto.

The next tournaments I'll be playing for sure will be the following:

World Series Of Poker Circuit Event

(Harrahs, Cherokee, North Carolina)

Thursday, April 16th Event #1 $365
Friday, April 17th Event #4A $365
Saturday, April 18th Event #4B $365
Saturday, April 18th Event #4C $365

My plan is to keep crushing the $2/$5 NLHE cash games like I've been doing.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/18...treak-1493365/

Continue to get better at tournaments.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3p3uRnHSG4

Storm down that corridor once again at The Rio All Suites Hotel.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36OHZ51o2qo

Cut a promo after I bring home a bracelet and end my tournament jobber status.

Michael Cole is the $hit poker news reporters, columnists, and article writers I'll ignore. HHH is FoxwoodPokerProMad. LivingoffZSun is obviously Chyna. Bad Ass Billy Gun is anyone else who doesn't believe in the bull.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_MfdNMQ9LE

"The People's Bankroll" is currently at $6,040.00 ($60.40 a share.)

The main reason I have kept my share is for what you stated above. I think you're a competent player and will eventually get a few good runs that last throughout a tournament. It can be hard to cash in large fields if you're not getting the cards. You can play the player all you want but eventually you'll need a good hand to win and most of your stories seem to be lacking the latter later in the tournaments.
