Selling 20% of the main and 5.1k side event (starting date feb 22)

5% = 15.1k*1.25*1% = $943.75

As an fyi, I sold 30% of the main and 20% of the 5k privately, so if this sells I'll have 50% of myself in the main and 60% in the 5k. Will be playing regardless.

assuming you aren't a california resident how will you handle the 7% tax in CA

Commerce will accept a 5794 form, so in the event of a cash they will issue investors tax docs for their profits (this is what they did for me last year).

For ca tax, 7% will be withheld - investors get paperwork showing they paid that in ca taxes. Whether you get any of it back depends on your tax situation.
