Selling for the $1500 Labor Day Deepstack tournament at Horseshoe Cincinnati which has $500k guaranteed prizepool and $100k guaranteed to the winner. The Horseshoe will give close to 200 seats away through promotions like "high card" drawn 6 times a day all month long, daily tournament winners and 9 seats added to final table of first event. They will also run 4 satellites with 5 seats guaranteed in each the day prior to the main event. With all the promotions getting players into the $1500 who would normally never play it, I would imagine the field to be soft, especially with the $5k HardRock and $2500 WinStar the same weekend.

Cincinnati $1500 Deepstack
Accumulated chips at a steady pace and the level before dinner I peaked at 65k but lost a few decent pots and had 45k on break. After dinner my table broke and started off well at my new table. I won a few decent hands which took me to almost 75k. Then at 100/600/1200 open KhQh to 2400 from early position and get 2 callers. Flop QQ5 we bet 5500 get 1 caller. Turn 3 we check, he bets 11k we call. River 4 we check again. He bets 25k (he started hand with like 100k) and since I under rep'd my hand and also been pretty active winning a few hands without showing, I figured he could be betting here with a weaker Q or even a bluff because his bet sizing seemed too big. I call and he shows AQ and we're down to around 30k. We bust after getting down to around 26k and 4-bet ship JJ into AA.

Such a great tournament with a super soft field. Pretty disappointed with the outcome but based on the dynamic of the table, my image and the line I took in the KQ hand, I think my thought process was correct but unfortunately he had the case Q with the A kicker. The hand plays out the same way if he has QJ or Q10 there...only I win
