I'm selling 60% of my action into the Bellagio 5 Diamond events at 1.2 MU. I will play the events regardless of how much action I sell. If I am still in a previous event and don't play one of the events, I will refund $. Also, if I win a seat into the $25k championship event, your % action will be carried over.

Live Results:
I have won a WPT Main Event, an NAPT Main Event, made two WSOP FT's, etc. My ROI in tournaments is most impressive because of the very limited number I play each year.

For this series there are 3 $5,180 events. They are all re-entry although I will only buy into each event one time.
Starting dates for 5k events are: Dec 3, 8, 10

There is one $10,300 event.
Start date for 10k event is: Dec 6

Total buy-ins = 3 x $5,180 + $10,300 = $25,840
1% = $25,840 x 1.2 x 0.01 = $310

Payment options:
I'd prefer cash in Vegas or will also do bank transfer.

Information about taxes:
In order to not withhold taxes from winnings, what I will need from you in an event of a large cash is a w9 form filled. This is basically your name, address and SSN.

Thanks,
Joe Tehan

For those who don't know me or are a bit concerned, I am certainly not broke. I have a couple homes in Vegas and now live in California (all of my $ has come from poker winnings). I am simply selling action mostly because I'm a bankroll nit! I will also cut back my asking price to $300 for 1%. Thx all!

Hey everyone. I'm just a longtime lurker here on the twoplustwo poker forums.

I'm a humble borgata grinder, mostly grind the 1-2nl, but if I'm feeling good and on an upswing and the game looks juicy I'll take a shot at the 2-5nl. But I still play the occasional MTT and like to read the forums to help improve my game to one day be a superstar and maybe sell some pieces in marketplace.

The Bear Jew/Joe Tehan thread in High Stakes MTT brought me here.

I also saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsFLCX7-TBU

I think its highly unethical for Joe Tehan to be giving away such free information in such a high buyin event in which other people are investing and paying a markup.

Does anyone know if Joe paid any investors their pieces of the 80$? For all we know Joe may be making lots of money, selling 100% of himself, and not caring about the tournament...just trying to make a decent hourly off of showing people his hands. He certainly looked like he was trying to lose the epic poker tournament with the 42o on the bubble and the K6s / A7o play. Maybe he was just bored and was getting indifferent to the tournament because he sold 100% just to pocket the markup and the extra money from showing hands.

Anyways, I think its blatantly obvious that Joe stole the 80$ from his investors ITT as they are obviously entitled to that part of the cash if he is sacrificing the EV of giving away free information. Even if Joe appears too stupid to understand that giving away free information is bad, he should still understand that he owes the investors that money. I'm just a humble 1-2 grinder and I know I NEVER show my cards unless its for a specific reason to make my opponents think I'm playing too loose, too tight, or to tilt an easily tilted player. To show every hand and collect a fund and to be so happy with the money he's making on the side should definitely be against market place rules.

I have alerted the mods of the stealing and would like investors to post ITT if they have been paid. I also think that Joe practices in the shady practice of using his friends to drive up the percieved image of his shares, and sells a lot of shares privately. If you look at this thread and the threads in HSMTT, the first investor and major Joe Tehan defender is the account 'lvkajunakid' who obviously one would believe is personally connected to Joe Tehan. It seems like not many people bit, but I believe he might sell privately and definitely not sharing the money/info there.

It is all very questionable IMO. Just like in the TMAY fiasco, everyone should include all investors somewhere ITT. Did he send up selling 60%? How is he chopping up the 80$? I'm just glad I didn't bite at this investment. It isn't a surprise to me he bubbled this event even with it paying 100 players!

Pretty absurd to do this for $80 and not tell investors when you're selling yourself at 1.2 in 5 and 10k's. Would say you probably owe investors their share of the 80, but much more importantly not sure why you would do this and when you're selling off pieces of yourself and not inform investors about it.

I don't know if unethical is the right word but it is definitely ******ed. I agree that you'd owe investors your share of the 80 and you should also need to ask the approval of all investors before you do something like this. Clearly just lighting money on fire.

One of the dumbest ideas ever to show every hand at your table for $80, the rest of the day. What were you thinking? It's not like this is a $300 Nightly event and you're wasted..

You call the table FISH? LOL looks like they reeled in a big one, getting you to show every hand for $80 the rest of the day.

I have invested in Joe in prev events incl all 4 epics. I do not know Joe personally.

I had reserved a % but he decided not to sell in the event, therefore there were no investors.

I've played a few times with Joe, both in cash games as well as a 1k Commerce LAPC event. Very down to earth, nice guy who I really believe likes to have fun as he plays the game he obviously loves. He is someone who is bright enough to realize what hands he is showing and react accordingly to players perceived image based upon his "shows". The $80 was more in fun than an amount he was really concerned with and I'm sure he'd have no problem splitting that amongst any investors he may have had in that event. It probably was never brought up and seen as so inconsequential. He uses his image to his advantage and it is hard to dispute his results to date.

Side note FWIW, while playing in cash game with him I did bring up the 24o hand from the EPIC event and he had a rational explanation based upon stack sizes and bubble situation and the range in which he thought he'd get Vanessa Rousso to lay down her hand essentially giving him a freeroll for the main pot with weak but live cards.
