Selling a package for PCA and Aussie high roller events along with the 25k NBC Heads Up event (invite only). The PCA highroller gets epically large every year and got 141 entries last year. The Aussie Highroller 25k was a shootout last year and also had a lot of conflicts with other events which resulted in a smaller turnout. They changed it to a normal freezout and fixed the scheduling so that should get approx 50+ entries. And of course the NBC Heads up will have a bunch of live Pros who are famous and great on TV but literally never play heads up all year long and many who have fallen behind the curve. with that said i'm expecting a fair amount of soft spots in it the same way it was when i played it 2 years ago.

Can you verify the NBC HU event is 25k? Can't find an official NBC page for this, but the poker articles I am seeing that mention a buy in are still saying 20k like it was in 2011 (ie http://pokerfuse.com/news/media-and-...xt-year-06-12/ ) Assuming they just haven't been informed otherwise & NBC hasn't put the word out it is 25k this time around... Thanks.

I ended up not making it out to Aussie. I decided to go to the superbowl for the first time this year as I am a big 49ers fan and friends with the owner who got me some special seats for family and friends so was just way too cool of an opportunity to pass up on. Plus i would never want to be playing a 25k event if i would rather be somewhere else as that isnt the right mindset to be in while playing poker!

I absolutely hate canceling on investors for recreational reasons like this and cant think of a time i ever have but this was a pretty unique opportunity so i pulled the trigger.

To make up for it I will substitute the aussie 25k with the bay101 WPT 25k highroller the first week of march. Bay 101 is an extremely soft event and i certainly expect my roi in it to be higher than the one in aussie. Also bay101 is in san jose which is my home town, and bay 101 is my home town casino. I know all the reg's, how they play, and the general playing style in that cardroom which i think gives me a much bigger edge in this event over the other live tourny regs.

If you want to make this substitue go ahead and just give me a "yes" to the swap in events. If you want a refund for approximately a quarter of this package then let me know and that is fine as well.

Since the aussie 25k AUD was a slightly bigger buy in than the bay 101 25k USD due to the currency difference. You will just have a little larger of a piece in the bay 101 25k.
