I'm looking to sell pieces of myself to the 2013 Irish Open at a 1.1556 mark-up. This equates to €26 for 1%

The tournament

The tournament is a €2000+250 buy-in tournament taking place from the 29th March in Dublin, Ireland. The buy-in has decreased from €3500 in 2012 to €2250 in 2013. Therefore I feel a lot of US and Euro pros won't make the trip meaning the field will be softer than in previous years. I'd still imagine most Irish and UK pros will be playing. The tournament will have a large number of online qualifiers (Irish site Paddy Power are sponsors of the tournament and have been running satellites for months so a large percentage of the field will be online qualifiers). The tournament had 502 runners last year, but with the decreased buy-in it's tough to tell what numbers will be this year. I'd estimate there'll be around 600 runners meaning a first prize in around the €300k mark. The structure is a 30k starting stack with a 60 minute clock (increasing to 75 minutes after day 1).


Who am I?

I'm an Irish poker player and student. I wouldn't term myself as a professional poker player but I have had winning years every year since I turned 18 in 2010. I'd primarily be a live player playing NL/PLO cash and live MTTs so I feel very comfortable in this setting. My usual buy-in would be in the €200-€1100 range but I did play the Irish Open in 2011 (busted the end of day 1) so I feel totally comfortable in this tournament.

Miscellaneous

Anything outside the prize pool is not included in this package. Any tips will not be taken from investors share. Poker winnings are not taxable in Ireland so tax will not be an issue.
