chardrian's 2011 WSOP/Venetian Stake

WHO AM I?

My name is Adrian Dresel-Velasquez and online I go by the name chardrian. I played primarily on FullTilt and PokerStars but also played a bit on UB. I am 35 years old, married, and I am currently a full-time poker pro and I am also a coach/pro at Pocket5s Training (previously PokerPwnage.) Prior to playing poker full-time I was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Wisconsin.

WHY SHOULD YOU INVEST IN ME?

I started playing professionally in 2007 and I am a proven winner since then. I was a very low volume player but my stats are as follows:
Tourneys played: 5985 Total Buy-Ins: $606599 Profit: $420640 ROI: 69%

My biggest online cash to date has been in the summer 2007 FTOPs Main Event where I got 3rd for just over $150,000. I have been staked at the WSOP the last two years and made a Final Table both years. In 2009 I got 6th in a $2000 NL event and in 2010 I got 5th in a $1500 Limit event.

MY PROPOSAL/SCHEDULE

I am only going to be able to make it out to Vegas this year for about 10 days/2 weeks. I am hoping to get to Vegas by Sunday June 5th and to stay until Thursday June 16th.

6/5 WSOP 8b $1000
6/6 WSOP 10 $1500
6/7 Venetian $350
6/8 Venetian $560
6/9 WSOP 15 $1500
6/10 Venetian $2500
6/11 WSOP 18 $1500
6/11 WSOP 19 $2500
6/12 WSOP 20 $1000
6/13 Venetian $1600
6/14 Venetian $1080

Total Possible Buy-Ins = $15090.

It is very unlikely that I would play all 11 of these events since I should be making some day 2s. I will only play Hold'em tourneys (NL/Limit/pot limit/or mixed) and will not play shootouts on this stake.

MY MARKUP - 25%

To make numbers easy I am going to eat $50 of my possible Bis which makes my Total Package after Markup = $15040 * 1.25 = $18800.
1% = $188
5% = $940
10% = $1880.

I am looking to sell between 50-70%.

EXPENSES

I will also be paying for all expenses - my housing, food, transport, etc. Any money staked to me will be used solely for WSOP/tourney buy-ins.

TAXES

I will repeat what I have done in 2009 and 2010 and will give all of my investors their money back pre-taxed but in order to do so I will need your name, SS #, and possibly a copy of your DL so that I can issue you a 1099. You as the investor will be responsible for paying any and all tax that you owe. Without this info I will have to take out whatever tax rate percentage that I estimate I will have to pay for the 2011 tax year.

REFERENCES

I have done my previous staking on PTP but I am sure that I can provide references if that is a concern.

PAYMENT

Cash in Vegas, PayPal, or check.

My first priority after the WSOP will be to settle my accounts with my backers.

RAILAGE

I will be using Twitter to update as often as I can. @chardrian

QUESTIONS/CONCERNS

Either post them here or shoot me a pm.

Thanks,

chardrian

You have two tournaments both planned for the same day (6/11). Do you plan on live multi-tabling? Surely you are not expecting to bust within 5 hours of the first tournament are you? Just trying to get a sense of your plan.

Re: chardrian's 2011 WSOP/Venetian Stake

Not planning on live multi-tabling or busting within 5 hours but wanted to include both just in case. The Final Table I made last year was in an event where I busted at like 5:15 pm of a noon event and I then entered the 5 pm event.

The only way I would actually buy-in to all of these events would be an absolute worst case scenario and I don't expect that to happen. Any monies left over will obviously be redistributed once the stake ends.

Yeah, the 1500s have a fast structure early so probably half the field or more will bust by the end of late reg for the evening tournament.

Also wanted to post that I have invested in Chardrian in past WSOPs and he is super professional and ridiculously +EV in these tournaments.

Bump me up to 20%
