I play a combination of HU, 6max, and FR cash on multiple sites from 100nl up to 400nl mainly. I'm selling up to 65% of my action for the Main Event this year. I just cashed the Monster Stack this year finishing 77th and losing set over set for the chip lead. I held the chip lead in that tournament during part of day 3.

So here's the final hand:

Guy opens middle position for 1k with 25k stack. He's been opening a ton for about an hour. Super wide range. Guy to his left goes all in for 1.4k. Button is a GIANT nit fish. He's been opening to 4x and 5x and then folding to small shoves and showing AK and AQ complaining that they're drawing hands and he just can't call unless he has a made hand (example, he opened to 2k from hijack and folded to a 6.4k shove and showed AK! What!?...also he's already reraised huge in 2 spots with JJ and QQ and showed so he's never flatting those hands. So he flats. I have 86s and jam 9.6k.

So I risk 9.6k, there is already 4.8k in the pot, the original opener has already opened and folded to 3bets 2x and my image is very tight since I've seen NO cards for 2 hours...so I have no reason to suspect he'll call light and I know he has an enormously wide range. I also know that the last flatter folds guaranteed 1,000% of the time. There is no question that the flatter folds everytime.

More than half the time I'm gonna wind up heads vs the all-in risking 1.4k to win a 6.2k pot. And probably around 30% of the time the original opener will call and I'll be in rough shape.

Opener does call with AKo, Flatter insta-folds, all in has KJo. So I have a little more than 35% equity. Nice. Nope. Can't get there. That's it.
