From 2008-2015, when they paid out 10%+1 table, I cashed 32 of 180(17.8%) WSOP events I played. I didn’t play the 50/50 when it ran, though some of the smaller field events would pay closer to 15% of the field because of the +1 table effect. With the change to 15% of the field cashing last year, I cashed 11 of 45 events. This is all despite a significant amount of late-reg.
Packages
Package A: 1k-3ks, selling 40%
Package B: 5ks and 10ks, selling 70%
Also selling individually:
111k One Drop at no markup: I’ve intended to play this the last couple years, but got gun shy and decided against. Then on break, people playing the tournament tell me how soft it is, that I should try to get in, and that they’d buy some. I hear the same about how soft it is every time I ask whether to buy action in the event.
50k players championship at 1.02
25k PLO at no markup: I played this for the first time last year, was concerned going in that I might not be winning in it going in, and was shocked to have that dispelled immediately. I play the tournament aspects of PLO well, which are much more important than in a normal tournament.
I've sold ~30% of these.
Notes:
I return some markup if I heavily late register due to non-poker reasons - this is entirely at my discretion.
I’m intending on re-entering events that allow it, usually at reduced markup depending how deep into registration.
I almost never miss hands dealt to me.
Payment Options
I prefer cash in Vegas, deposit/transfer to my WF, bitcoin, or checks if they get to me in time. I may also take PP from people I know. I may be able to do some Stars. You don't have to pay me the full amount as long as you're not on credit(unless I trust you)
