Hey guys! It's that time of year again, and that means it's time to make another summer package template!
As of this moment I could only find the WSOP and Golden Nugget schedules, and I'm going to call Bellagio, Venetian, Caesars, and Binions to find out when they plan to release theirs, as well as any other casinos having a relevant poker series this summer. Once they do I'll add tournaments to the templates as they are released. Bellagio does have the WPT events scheduled already, but I didn't find any prelim schedule so I'm going to call and ask about it and if there won't be any I'll just add the WPTs to the schedule as well. If a schedule comes out and I miss it or if you find errors in my spreadsheets please let me know itt and I'll add/fix them ASAPly.

You can also charge whatever markup amount you feel is justified. Changing the markup number will adjust the cost of that piece for any potential buyer.
Step 5) Protect your spreadsheet. You do not want other members editing your sheet. To protect each individual sheet, click the arrow on the corner of the document tab on the bottom left hand side of the browser window. Use option 'Protect Sheet>Only Me'.
Step 6) Share your spreadsheet. For the public to look at the schedule you've created, you need to share the spreadsheet. To do so, click Share in the top right side of the browser and go to Share Settings. Under Permissions, click Change and set to Public on the web
Step 7) Optional: Save your buyer information on the second sheet. This will make managing who has a piece of your action easier. The Action Summary tab can be accessed on the bottom left of the browser window next to the main tab.
Step 8) Copy the link to your thread! Good luck in Vegas this summer!

Sorry I've been busy for the last week but here are the instructions on how to use the first two sheets from last year's thread:
Those are all the posts I made relating to using the standard sheets last year. Instructions on how to sell different %s for individual tourneys coming up next. If you have any questions then please post them itt or PM me

The spreadsheet determines payouts like this:
1) At the start of the package it assumes all events were unplayed until you tell it you played an event. This is intuitive because say you decide to cancel the package or just don't play any of it, you owe all the money back as refunds.
2) For each event you play, let the spreadsheet know by putting a 1 in the Played? column on the same line as the event. If you play all of your events and therefore have all 1s in that column, your refunds will go to zero and payouts will be based solely on any winnings to have.
3) For each event you miss, put a 0 in the Played? column on the same line as the event. This has the same effect as an empty cell, but putting the 0 there helps you know the event has passed and avoids confusion in your records because it confirms you did not play (helpful for investors who may be watching the spreadsheet and wonder if you played something or not when seeing a blank space).
4) All winnings are entered into the spreadsheet manually in the winnings column, and tournaments with no cash can be either 0 or left blank (same effect, although putting a 0 is probably better for the same reasons as above).
5) The Action Summary tab automatically calculates the payouts for each investor based on winnings and refunds after you input the markup they paid, their percent share in the package, and any extra refunds you owe each individual buyer.
It's pretty simple and doesn't take much time to do each day after playing a tournament, and should make things a lot easier to figure out at the end of the package. I'll post a sample later just to make it clearer.

You also want people who pay with an online transfer to pay a slightly higher markup than those who pay with cash in Vegas, approximately 1.02x as much. To do this and still have accurate share prices, change the markup to 1.25, 1.2, 1.15, and 1.1 in the Markup column of the schedule for each event respectively, change the markup for shares in the live cash option to 1.0, and change the markup for shares in the online xfer option to 1.02. Share prices will now reflect the proper amounts for people to who to invest in your package with any method of payment.

This seems intuitive since that is the only markup that would vary between investors, but I just want to make sure everyone knows this before accidentally paying back too much or too little

Just added a Total Buyins cell above the Total Cost cell so that it's easier to relate the total marked up cost of the package to the nominal cost for people who are going to charge different markups on different events. It's basically so you can quickly figure out the total $$$ amount of markup for the whole package.

Just finished adding all $300+ Venetian events to the standard templates. Gonna do the v2 templates after I get some dinner cuz I'm starving right now 
edit: I guess now that the Venetian tourneys have been put in it would be a good time to replace last year's sticky
edit edit: Also, I may as well mention that in the template the "Venetian" and "Palazzo" venues are the same series and are linked to the same page in case it wasn't obvious, but I just put which building the tournament is in to make it more helpful for making travel/commuting arrangements and etc
