2010 Canadian Poker Open Championship Main Event

I have decided to sell 80% of my action to play in this event and I will only be playing if I sell out, if not all money will be shipped back. I currently play $80 and $100 HUSNG’s on Full Tilt and play under the username “Newff”. My volume is not huge because I have a pretty hectic work schedule but when I am not working or playing I am working on improving my game (even at work ). I have made friends with a lot of people on twoplustwo especially in the Heads Up Forum and have done many transfers with them outside of the forum because I have a lot of them on Skype, MSN, AIM and so on.. My stats/graphs will be posted below. If needed I work on getting some references but business wise I haven’t done much on here because I’ve always played with my own money and didn’t need to do many site to site transfers. I will make all my personal info available to buyers though.

Structure

10k chips to start (200 big blinds deep)
Blind levels: 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400 etc..
20 Minute levels

Markup ( 1.2:1 but will be repaid if I cash )

I will be asking for mark-up on this event, if not I don’t think I would be playing it. The reasons are; First of all any winning HUSNG player will have a good edge in this event. The structure of this is probably the best in the world. Also because in order to play this event I have to take 3 days off work which will cost me $700, flight to Calgary will cost about $300-$400, and Hotel will cost about $500 minimum. I am adding something that I never see around here which is that if I cash in this event I will drop the mark-up.

1% : $60
5% : $300
10% :$600

$$$ can be sent to Newff on Full Tilt Poker or LPC3000 on Pokerstars if interested. The Pokerstars account is where I play $1-$5 HUSNG's shoving all in every hand if I come hom drunk

Reserve 1% and where do u live and how are the taxes handled?

Reserved. I live in Fort Mcmurray, Alberta right now..because I am Canadian I don't have to pay taxes on any winnings.

I think someone mentioned though that if I have buyers outside of Canada I need to get some kind of form if I win anything. I'll look into it more today.

I've talked poker with Newff for a few years and he is a great guy. Furthermore he is absolutely destroying the HU sngs (as you can see), against a presumed soft live field this is a good investment.

Well it's not until August but I want to be able to request a check from Full Tilt in the next few weeks if I can sell enough action. If action sells fast I may have to rush people a bit with the reserves.

2 weeks from now is the best I can do I think for reserves. I understand it's early for me to post this but the reason is because this event is capped at 128 entrants so the quicker I can lock up a seat the better.
