WSOP daily deepstack calling range
Villain is definitely more of a survival type player than an accumulator. He was agonizing to call all in after short stack shove and button iso-raise with QQ. He had previously raise / folded when UTG + 1 shoved for 1/3 of his stack and said he folded AQ.
We are very deep - 22 left out of 581 runners. Villain had mentioned previously he was going to start open shipping because he couldn't r/f any more. Blinds 20/40/4K. He ships UTG + 1 (7 handed) and it folds to hero in the BB. He has 900K, but he covers everyone behind him, so he is risking at most 600K. Still, it is unlikely he is shipping light, and it smells like a hand he doesn't want to fold, doesn't want to r/f and doesn't want to play OOP - so it seems a lot like 99-JJ, AJs+, AQo+, maybe KQs or ATs.
Hero has 400k. I had started the table with 900K but doubled up UTG short stack AQ < JJ and then doubled him up again BVB AQ < AKs on the very next hand.
Since then table has not called my shoves and I chipped back to about 400K. What range would you call the shove?
