Yeh, I think the meaning was clear. It illustrates my point about how this board is getting to be like the poker gestapo and only certain points of view are tolerated.

People didn't talk like Stinky here 5 years ago and it would be totally unacceptable at a business meeting or academic conference.

This forum is useful for seeing what the standard lines are so as not to follow them, as people are expecting that sort of play and no how to counter it.

Dont take a non-standard line just for the sake of being different. There is a reason standard lines are standard. Also, MTTs are so soft that if you just took the standard line everytime you would print the money. Its just that people dont know what the standard lines are

Hes an 18yo idiot who (I assume) has won some money playing a computer game. I wouldnt take it to heart betgo.

From the look of him in these pics I doubt hed say anything confrontational to a small girl IRL.

Also he probably didnt mean it literally. Internet lingo and all that. GIFAFI, D IAGF was all around 5 years ago and is the same sentiment. These days the kids say, GET CANCER< I HOPE YOU GET HIT BY A CAR.. etc Its all the same

No one actually hopes you get hit by a car. Maybe a shopping cart kinda hard but thats it. People do hope you stop making attention whore threads about nothing.

Re: What's this with the preflop bet sizing police?

I'm pretty big and strong, so I doubt he would say anything to me in person.

I just see posts where someone raises and gets 4 callers deep, and they say "less preflop" or "like your sizing" if it was a miniraise. Or a top player flats a 3-bet or 4-bet in position and you get comments that the sizing should be smaller. Or someone squeezes with a big pair at low stakes and gets flatted and he should have reraised smaller. Some of this makes no sense to me.

3x early stage, 2.5-2.7x higher blinds, 2.2x post antes. don't minraise.

Well then maybe it would be better to address it in original threads related to those hands (with serious reasoning/maths behind), rather then opening new vague thread which will inevitably end up like this one.
