I certainly don't think everyone is checking flush draws here, and I don't think giving free cards and thus guarantee we don't get stacks in when we are cold is bad. Basically, I believe pot controlling is fine when we are just inflating the pot oop, when betting into these hands, they still have correct odds to call.
start thinking in terms of odds on two streets rather than one...a flush draw is 33% to hit by the river but only half that on the turn....if you let the flush draw have it's 1/3 odds on the flop...then you can shut out the odds on the turn, and you have a guaranteed profit every single time the hand comes up

regardless of how u size ur bet, your flop sizing ended up being too high for your hand strength...get to showdown for correct price you win in poker and there is nothing else that is important -- how the bets go in doesn't matter

mods: delete what i just wrote i don't want the game to get too tough

That certainly is a good point.

So I assume you advocate just bet(375-425ish)/never fold heads up?

Assuming I bet, I feel like it would of went button raise, bb jam, do we fold now?

Say both call our c-bet... Do we c/f all clubs, Q's, J's, T's and 9's? And fire all bricks?
Does our plan change if we are heads up oop?
If its the bb that calls, and one of those cards hits, I assume we check back? If so, do we pay off on brick rivers?

Sorry for so many hypotheticals, just knowing what I am doing in all of these situations will certainly give me a better understanding of why this is better.

yes

yes to fold to the double aggression though even then I would be skeptical based on what I have seen from this crowd...

I like the 325 number and if both flat I barrel blank turns

yeah in a lot of cases you can just c/f a club or some cards on the turn, your problem in the hand isn't the check or bet the flop that's kinda neither here nor there...the problem is the two -ev plays you made after checking

evaluating board texture and betting the amt you want to be called by when ahead and folded to when behind is just basic poker....e.g. prob the best turn card for you is another 5, so that changes u to way ahead where they still call bets so bet a lot on it...Jc might c/f

ur never gonna get good in poker thinking this way...there are untold billions of flop combo's, planning for each one isn't gonna work...u are ahead of their calling range otf, hence std is bet...u may or may not be behind their raising range...and u will often be forced into a guess....thts pkr
